1. This is my second visit this winter, and this time the Towers were to be seen with very good light, but no clouds unfortunately. So I repeated the shot of the other day with the coirón grass, but now with the towers. 08:00 h in the morning, with Polar filter and HD Graduated filter 2. Thanks for ratings and critiques.

Sunrise at Co Thach

Hello Minh, What a great way through your photography to present us Vietnam. Thank you to your eyes. Congratulations, excellent.
6.
I kept all my Nikon AI-S lenses, from 16 mm right to 300 mm. Use a lot the 35mm f/1.4, 50mm f/1.2, 24mm f/2.0, 85mm f/1.4 and 105 mm Micro f/2.8, night shots, dawn fotos, and so on. Great quality of the pictures and blow up up to 60 x 120 cm very nice.

7.
I have digital from the year 2004, first small cameras with small sensors. with them, I made big posters (up to 60 x 120 cm), Made photographic books of high quality, also used with my hands, for more creativity, HD graduated filters or polarizer, or HD filters with these small cameras (no filter threads), between 6 to 10 Megapixels. As some say, the important is who is behind the camera. Later on, I bought full frame cameras (Nikon) with high quality lenses, yes, it helps for more creativity, Low light photography, wildlife, etc. but just lately I bought a mirrorless of Fujifilm and I am sure it will also help for some creativity for new books. You can make high qualith photos with any camera, with any sensor, small or big. It only depends on you behind the camera.

8. Very interesting to have found that boat which is not floating, but firm on the ground which makes it the only one inmobil compared with the others which all move with the 39 s. exposition and the high wind. Congratulations.
9. Sorry, that soon in the morning, the towers were still covered by clouds, not my fault.
10. Last Thursday, I downloadad a similar photo, but with sun and without model. This was taken still at sunrise time, when the ice was on the shade, therefore the bluish ice, yes I know, a bit too well edited. But it is such a nice foreground. And we have the plus to have a photographer on the picture as a model, who is my colleague of Puerto Natales, Marcial Urbina T. who soon will join Photo.net too. We travel together around Patagonia about for a year now. Both of us are forming a new company. We will travel by car all around Patagonia, only for photographers, so that you know our secret locations and lookouts, especially in the autumn, winter and spring. More on that on my Photographer Biography soon. Photo edited by both of us. Thanks for ratings and critiques.

12. Thanks for all of you. This photo won of the 4 I downloaded a few days ago. Thought the Torres del Paine with Ice in the foreground will win, but the Coirón Grass won. In the next days I will download another with ice, and this time I think you will love that new one. Greetings,
13. Larry, Tony, Gianni and Michael, Thanks for your critiques and sugestions. Tony, yes, good panoramic, this is an interesting 2nd image, in case I make a book and there is space for a spectacular panoramic. I did not think about it, I was so absorbed by the ice in the foreground! Greetings to all. Now waiting for more snow and another trip around.

Counting stars

Very well done Minh, Like the model with the torch and the light painted foreground. Congratulations.
15. It was sunset time at Laguna Amarga so I watched for an interesting foreground which was found with these ice puzzle. Unfortunately, the Towers were not to be seen, but the mood was magical. Remember, the laguna is on private land, so respect. Thanks for ratings and critiques.
16. On a certain part of that beach, there is an attractive group of semi circular coiron grass which make a fine foreground. The Laguna Amarga had big waves for the tempest at that moment. The Towers are hidden, but the massif is visible. It is just incredible how many lookouts are available around this Laguna, if your vision is well developped. By the way, it is on private land, on the way to the park. But there are no restrictions to get to its coast. Just beware not to drive on the beach, because in summer, soil is very soft and even Land Rovers have been stacked there and the farmer is not going to help you to get out of it. Driving too near the beach will destroy the estromatolites, so it is prohibited, as well to walk over the estromatolites in the water or on the beach. Thanks for ratings and critiques.

19. Larry, we all wait for your next visit, this time for more time please. Thanks for your comment. Remember, winter all prices down, and much better oportunities to photograph.
20. Just in case, the coast is straight, it is an optical phenomenon because the coast goes down on the right.
21. This was at dawn. It is a long exposure of 25 seconds to have some life on the clouds. These nice stones are a marvellous foregroud. If you happen to be around at this lookout, look on your right and go down a bit and you will see them. Critiques and Ratings welcome.
22. Never saw that kind of scenery in the Torres del Paine National Park. All that ice accumulated on the coast of the Laguna Amarga, after a winter wind storm at night. See for more details in the text I left below the photo. Thanks for ratings and critiques.
23. The night before I arrived at the park, there was much fresh snow everywhere, it sticked to shrubs and trees. But during the night, there was a severe storm all night and next days with winds over 120 km/h, and all snow melted. Laguna Amarga which was frozen, accumulated its ice on its coast. The Torres could not be seen all next morning, when suddently for a few seconds they were visible. The ice accumulated on the coast looks like a scenery on the Antarctic. This is an event rarely observed in the Torres del Paine National Park. Critiques and Ratings welcome.
