COIRON GRASS ON THE COAST OF LAGUNA AMARGA - TORRES DEL PAINE N.P. - PATAGONIA (CHILE)

On a certain part of that beach, there is an attractive group of semi circular

coiron grass which make a fine foreground. The Laguna Amarga had big

waves for the tempest at that moment. The Towers are hidden, but the

massif is visible. It is just incredible how many lookouts are available around

this Laguna, if your vision is well developped. By the way, it is on private

land, on the way to the park. But there are no restrictions to get to its coast.

Just beware not to drive on the beach, because in summer, soil is very soft

and even Land Rovers have been stacked there and the farmer is not going

to help you to get out of it. Driving too near the beach will destroy the

estromatolites, so it is prohibited, as well to walk over the estromatolites in

the water or on the beach. Thanks for ratings and critiques.

A lovely shot. Well framed and exposed. It seems like a little bit of detail can be extracted from the mountains on the right. Might make this even better.
