I very much like the shot, but I would also have waited to have some person at the end of the walkway/Bridge and/or looking through a nearby window. That would put some life in the picture. But anyway, I am hooked with it as it is.
2. I had finished the photo session with the Paine Grande when suddently a last lighted cloud formed over the summit of that famous mountain. Again organizing the big lens on the tripod, puting the Polar filter and shooting to the last light on the top. A very magical moment and just in time. Thanks for Ratings and Critiques.
3. It was early in the morning, not too cold. Waiting for some nice clouds to accompany the sunrise, but not a single cloud around. Never mind, it was a magical moment anyway. Tried to compensate the lack of clouds with a nice foreground, so as to avoid publishing already well known photos from that point. Thanks for Critiques and Ratings.

6.
I have a Nikon system. I had problems with AI-S lenses at night, very difficult to find focus except with 85mm 1.4. I also bought a Samyang 14 mm 2.8 Manual, never had any problem using exact inifinity for astrophotography (night shots), all shots sharp focus at infinity.

7. I used a modell with my torch to "light" the big star, on the morraine at the Lookout of Base Las Torres. Modell did not move for 30 seconds! Thank you Sebastián. Thanks for Comments, Critiques and Ratings.

9. Hello Giangiorgio, But to take good photographs in Patagonia needs a lot of patience and time. This is the most difficult, above all for visitors with not much time available.
10. On a calm night, I went up to the lookout at 03:30 h from the Torres Camp to take night photography. Unfortunatelly, the Milky Way had already gone. But the nice stars and the quitness of the place were worth the effort. Nobody else around except our group. Thanks for Comments, Critiques or Ratings.

12. This was the last day that the surface of the lake was OK for walking on it. No sunrise that morning but lot of work with the frozen lake. Thanks for Comments, Critiques or Ratings.

14. Thanks Larry, But I published already a book about all Patagonia in 2009. 6000 books, all sold last year. It had 256 pages and more than 1000 pictures.
15. It was worth the effort to get up for the second time in this trip to the Lookout of the Base of the Towers. Nice sky with lots of stars and a lot of cold. Nightshots and waiting for the sunrise. Lake was frozen. Foreground iluminated with red torch for a few seconds. In edition, red light edited in yellow-orange. Thanks for Comments, Critiques and Ratings.
16. I went up from the Torres Camp to the Base de las Torres at 03:00 h with a good torch. Took me some 75 minutes for the heavy backpack and my age. Fortunatelly I know well the path. Once above, a half moon had just come out and iluminated well the Towers. Some lightpainting with torch for the foreground helped a bit more. No Milkyway, which was up about 22:00 h. last night. In the foreground is the outlet of the lake, without ice. The lake, a few more meters away was frozen. The time of the shot was at 04:23 h wintertime (although we have now summer time all year round). Comments by the Photographer.

18. A new lookout of the Torres del Paine with model on a nice stone. Thanks for Ratings and Critiques.
19. First time in Torres del Paine with the Fujifilm Mirrorless System, which is much lighter for the mountains trekkings. Good to go with a colleague or friend for modelling. Model: Marcial Urbina T. Here at the "Base Las Torres" Lookout. Thanks for Ratings and Critiques. Comments by the Photographer.
20. It was some months I did not return to the Torres del Paine Lookout "Base Las Torres". This time with lightpainting the foreground and a frozen proglacial lake. Thanks for ratings and critiques.
21. I used the lightpainting method for the foreground with a torch with a red light (which was transformed into light yellow while editing, without changing the colours of the rest of the photo). The time of exposition was 20 seconds to get movement in the clouds, with aperture of f/11. ISO 400. Lens used was a Samyang 14 mm f/2.8. The lake was frozen, but it was the last day. That night there was heavy wind and the next day it was too dangerous to walk again on the ice, the ice cap was too shallow. Commented by the photographer.

24. I love that picture, some drama on it. What place is that? Location please. Time some 10 seconds? Position of the church perfect.
