It's getting late in the afternoon and this chap thought there might be
something interesting to eat in my feeder. Thanks for looking Louise

Hi Don, I do prefer the other shot of the three horses, but this is definately an interesting perspective, make me shudder with cold. Regards Louise

Beautiful capture of one of my favorite birds. Lovely sharp detail, great colours. regards Louise

Hi Grayham, really do like this shot, the water trail really adds momentum to the Pelican's "lift off" Terrific composition and dof. Best regards Louise

Beautiful scene, great story. Love the lighting and mood you captured here. Best regards Louise

Hi Grayham, I love the way each bird is facing in the opposite direction, adds a lot of interest to this shot. Terrific detail on the gnarled old tree they are resting in. Kind regards Louise

Thanks Don for your kind comments. Not only was the bird turning away from me, but I was shooting over a gate which was locked! thanks again for looking. Louise

Hi Maureen, I can't find much to critisise here. This is a beautiful shot of a gorgeous Lioness, viewed larger it is very impressive. Perhaps I would have darkened it a little but for me you have captured her playfulness and her majesty. Best regards Louise

Hi Kenneth, whilst I agree with Douglas's thoughts on lighting and the loss of fee (something I'm often guilty off) I still like the story the photo tells. It's very amusing and gives the impression the gulls are staring at the same thing, perhaps they are watching a fishing boat approaching the harbour...who knows! best regards Louise

Hi Gail, your macro work never ceases to inspire me and the post production is just wonderful, I may learn how to do it one of these days, but my eyes are constantly drawn back to the complex features that you've captured on the bee itself. Just love your work. Kind regards Louise

Thanks Jim, much appreciated comments. Regards Louise

Thanks Gail, it is a delight to have this guy visit every day...he swarks like crazy if I don't put any fruit out for him! But he is lovely. Thanks again for stopping by. Louise

Thanks again Ann, you seem to have a great knowledge of wild birds? I thought this chap didn't look right as a full pink and grey. Regards Louise

Thanks Anne, I had since learnt that it was a long billed Corella, I should have changed the title, but thanks for stopping by.
This chap visits my garden from time to time with a flock of Little Corella.
Regards Louise

Another stunning shot, Roman. The shallow water and spray just add to the beauty and power of this photo. Regards. Louise

Hi Jim, you seem to have the same feelings for wildlife that I do. Your portfolio of nature and wildlife is really lovely and often whimsical! Regards Louise

Thanks Jim, much appreciate your kind comments! Regards Louise

Jim, I like your style. I'm mostly confined to my home so chase birds around my garden all day long. I'm often reduced to photographing the most common species but always hopeful of that "one" shot! I like this gal, she's got style and I'd kill for her eyelashed. Best regards.
