Hi Janine
Absolutely stunning capture, the colors are superb. I agree with Phil that another background might distract less, but appreciate that most of the time with bird photography we have to work with what we have.
Well done on another great shot.

Hi Pierre
As always, your images are exciting, eclectic, imaginative and fun. They make me "think" and I thank you for that.

Fred, it may be just another deer, but to someone who doesn't have deer wandering in my countryside, it is a beautiful image. I love the composition and the "look" he is giving you.

Thanks Mike, your comments are much appreciated. I'm very lucky to have a yard full of all sorts of "critters"!

Hi Siegfried - thanks for your comments and suggestion of using a longer lens, I will have to save my pennies. I live in Wanneroo, Western Australia and my backyard (in winter) is full of these frogs. I think they are called "Motor Cycle" frogs because of their call, but will have to google I think to be accurate. Thanks again for stopping bye.

Thanks for stopping by Pierre, I did take a number of photo's from differing angles, but he knew I was there and kept diving away!!

Hi all
I have a garden full of these creatures but can't quite seem to capture
them very well? Any hints or suggestions would be most welcome. This
guy was in a watering can. The second frog in this series was in the
compost heap, amazing how they change color to adapt to their
suroundings.
Thanks for looking

Hi all,
This cute guy visits the garden daily with his mate. I just like the way he
looked quite "thoughful" in this shot.
What do you think?
Thanks for looking

Hi Steve
while you all talk about aero dynamic and technique, I couldn't help sparing a thought for the snake who was probably thinking "shoot, wish I'd stayedin bed this morning!"
For me this is just a great "action" shot. Love it to bits.
Kind regards Louise

Mouse or Rat, doesn't look too appetising either way! Nice capture, something I've never seen.
