I caught these two Pink & Grey Galah arguing over the seed dish on my
patio. They were squawking like a pair of Banshees which had me
running for my camera! Not the best shot but full of action. Thanks for
looking.

Thankyou Pat for your kind words. Sorry for the delay in replying I have been In Sydney on holiday...best regards Louise

Thanks again Gail, these plants come in an assortment of colours and sizes, I agree they would be great at Christmas "if" they were still flowering! Regards Louise

HI Christian, if you are new to photography you are doing very well to capture this bird so well, especially as it is in flight! Could be a tad sharper and I might have played with the light a little but overall a great shot!. Kind regards Louise

Great shot Grayham, isn't it a delight when they visit your own yard? I love the look in this chaps eye, as if he's got you full in his sights! Best Regards Louise

Today was the first time I'd met this bird in my garden but apparently
they are very common in Australia. Her call caught my attention, so I
grabbed my camera (always at the ready) and headed out to find her on
the TV antenna. I had to crane my neck and shoot straight up into an
insipid sky to catch her between tree branches which is why the
background is so dull. Thanks for looking Louise

This is certainly a "gnarly" old hog! Great early morning capture. I really like to contrast between the greys and the deep blue of the sky! Best regards Louise

This big guy visits my neighbour from time to time and always pops his
head over the fence to say hi! Always a delight for me to see him, not
such a delight for my two cats!!! Thanks for looking.

Hi Grayham, great shot of these rhino's waiting their turn. The colours are exactly as I remember them in the Pilansberg. Makes for great memories. Kind regards

Hi Brad, very nice shot indeed. For me its all about the eyes and you have captured them perfectly. Kind regards Louise

Hi Gail, Thanks for you kind comments. Tombo is in fact a neighbours cat but I don't think he gets much loving at home. I have a white cat (Nikki) and a Black & White (Henri) who have both learned to live with Tombo's daily visits (morning and night) and to share their food. We have an extra bowl now! Indeed they all bring much sunshine into my life and Tombo loves a cuddle!
Best regards

A very comical shot just begging for quotes. I don't normally like zoo shots, but this one is very nicely composed and sharp. congrats, Louise

Hi Theodore, very dramatic capture ! The contrast between stormy skies and the dry grassland really hits the mark. But, I do have to agree with Jim about that patch of blue, it draws the eye away from the wonderful eles..great shot none the less. Kind regards Louise
