  1. As long as a "SanDisk SDXC Extreme Pro 128GB 170 MB/s U3 V3" costs me 42 euro and a Sandisk CF express Extreme Pro 128GB 1700 / 1200MB/s type B" costs me 269 euro choices for me are clear : I stick to the SD card version. Fast enough for me as i am a "classic" photographer and do notfeel the need for " spry and pray" ...:)
  2. Tell that to novoflex, it's their product, i'm just trying to help so don't shoot the messenger...

    D300

    being a DX camera is, in this case, not a weakness, but just another format which can also be seen as it's strength ..
  5. Nikon has a new software in its download center for tethering the Z-series cameras + the D^and D780, seemingly not fo the D500 .. :-( Nikon | Download center | NX Tether (nikonimglib.com)
  6. Snapbridge ==> laptop ==> HDMI cable connect to a monitor ?
  7. Can you also an image with the 70-180 without diopter, but cropped to a comparable magnification ?
  8. I used to use diopters on macro-(and "normal") lenses when working on film. I found that (for me) on digital i got better results when cropping in post than using diopters, so for me, diopters became unneccesary and hence superfluos .

    D750 or D810

    Nope, the D780 is the latest , D850 ==> July 2017 , D750 ==> Jan 2020 ..

    D750 or D810

    Have a closer look at the D780 , it uses all formats of SD cards ( two of them) , it's the go-between of the D750 and the D850, performance is higher than the D750 and the speed is also between D750 and D850 and builtin time-lapse functionality and also builtin Focus-stacking / Focus shift , etc. etc.
  11. mm still trying to imagine the advantage compared by just using a bit wider lens...and moving the whole camera and lens a bit to the left and the right and stitch the pics .., would need to see both results in real before i can immagine the result ...
  12. If i understand your description, th front lens of your lens will not move at all (theoretically) and the camera will rotate with thr rear part of your lens? Then all pics will be almost overlapping fully with the same part of the subject ? anyway you can greatly reduce the forces on the lens by having the body of your camera rest on a table of sorts or having it attached by a trypod on a dolly i guess.
  13. Is there a reason why you cannot use the Yongnuo radio triggers for the SB600's ? I do use a couple of SB600's on Yongnuo remotes without problems ..
  14. the Nikon 15mm F/2.8 AF-S is a dream of a lens... ;):rolleyes:
  15. Check the settings in your shooting menu> Auto distortion control THis setting should be off for portraits , i think. It is just handy in some situations when shooting architecture. Read : Support Articles (nikonimgsupport.com)
  16. Would be better without Auto Focus all together .... :cool: Still no "Rangefinder" i would say ;)
  17. MM The price is not bad, but this is without FT-Z adapter, so you would need to add that i think..

  19. That won't be the problem, the chalenge is in the availability of spare parts , nikon tend's to make spare parts and maintenance un-available within a set number of years after a product (be it lens or camera) expires..
  20. it's all still rumours and speculation... Part of that rumurs is that it will possibly be an APS-C camera, now tah would make it less interresting for many but more interresting for me .. ;):cool:
  21. mm to me it is clearly focussed on the sigarette smoke , backlight or flash combined with smoke will give you this type of , sometimes on purpose, shot's ..
  22. NIKON IS DEVELOPING THE NIKON Z 9 FULL-FRAME FLAGSHIP MIRRORLESS CAMERA (nikonusa.com)
  23. Mmm, if waiting for the Z9, are you sure that you want an ES-2 , or could it be that Nikon will come up with a copier especially designed to fit the Zn series better, with features that fit the Zn or it's lenses in one or another way ?
  24. The measuring of available light in the camera is done by different light-sensors, in a different housing, followed by differnt sensors to register the image, fololwed by different electronics with diferent programs to translate the light on the imaging sensors by different programs, then the program that translates the image information on your computer into colours and lightlevels to show you a recognizable image on your screen even uses a different protocol with its own settings depending on the source camera.. So... how would it be even possible to get exactly the same resulting image? ;):cool:
