Hi, Wayne. Initially, I was impressed by the people with their umbrellas, which are irregular primarily in color and shape. Just below are stone stanchions, all of which are vertical and are uniform in their mute grey color. My overall point is to view the image as an allegory of impermanance and permanence. Of course, this harkens to the Buddha. Even stone deteriorates to the point of becoming dust that vanishes in the wind. - - My best always, michael
Pierre, your skill with a camera ,with whatever software you use, and your artistry combined to yield a wonderful image. I can't say anything else! - - My best always, ,michael
My oh my, Vincent! What an extraordinary abstract. My guess is that, given the light source from below, the tiny light creatures actually are bright light at the end of tree branches. There is some uniformity of shape, but the real interest comes from the few vagabonds, which include 3 tiny meters.. -- -My best always, michael
If I had to re-title the image, it would be "Peace in a Remote Valley." Thanks for your astute comments, Vincent. I understand now that that ore detail in the rock would enhance it and improve the image. My best always, michael
The lighting is mesmerizing, Vincent. It runs the gamut of shadow, midtone, and highlight, which can't help but to draw the viewer in. I'm also impressed with the colors; despite the predominance of the gold of the petals, the green of the large bud in the top left of the array of blooms is an exceptional offset. Most impressive! - - My best always, michael
I hope this raptor's enjoying its meal. Even with the part of the fish tail in its mouth, the bird still generates fear. Another gem, Giangiorgio, michael
