A head shot of a horse - well selected and executed. However, there is a color cast in its mane. Could be that my monitor needs calibration.
  1. Your b&w work continues to inspire me.
  2. 2 questions. . . Is there a guide to the new site? How does one submit an image for critique? Your responses will be most appreciated. My best always, michael

    Rotation!

Amazing composition . . . Until I read your note, I thought you had duplicated the moon for abstract purposes. Your amazing technical prowess led to the viewer's noting subtle differences in the moon's surface. - - My best always, michael

KR, I was quite familiar with the previous version of PhotoNet. The new version so far baffles me. I've asked Management if there's a user guide. So far, no luck. My best always, Michael

Vincent, I can't thank you enough for your continued support of my work. I'm somewhat embarrassed that I didn't think of cropping from the front. - - My best always, michael

Pierre, I have no doubt that the tourist must have no idea of which appendage to use in order to click the shutter. If I had to guess,, he's developing a mental disorder. When he reappears, we'll find him dead drunk on the ground. Here's a rhetorical question. Does your creativity have any bounds? - - My best always, michael
  7. Since the Op is predominantly about trees . . . The is the trail down from Anna Ruby in NE Georgia.
  8. Sally, I just wonder whether "industrial" and "landscape" are slightly oxymoronic. (This is just a bt of sarcasm.)

    Yú fàn

Although it's sad that Chinatown gradually is taking over Little Italy, the location provides lots of photographic opportunities. I really like how the people the image portrays includes only one resident of the area - a woman standing in front of what may be her shop. Wayne, the colors and tonality certainly are tools for presenting the locale's dynamism and energy. - - My best always, michael

    orchid

An abstract orchid . . . hmmm. The pointillism mostly at the top is quite an artistic touch. - - My best always, michael
  11. Grandma must live in the wilderness of Kentucky or Tennessee, where bootleg stills probably are numerous if one knows how to search for them. Her holding and pointing a revolver indicates that someone is trespassing and should quickly leave the premises. Converting to b&w was a wise choice and fits the subject matter perfectly. - - My best always, michael
  12. Well seen and presented. I wholeheartedly agree with the conversion to b&w.
