1. Long Telezooms on DX except 70-200 f/2.8 otherwise FX D810. I have lately considered only using the D810 and set it to DX when using the long telezooms, but I have not yet tried it. Likely try it out on my short trip this coming week.
2. the positive is that the ladies do not drive when talking in the phone, however, that they stop in the middle of the street is part of the local culture. Nikon D810, Nikon 85mm f/8, iso125, 1/90"
3. Ethnic woman on the way home from the field D810, 70-200mm f/2.8@ f/6.7 85mm 1/1000" iso 400
4. Is it Nikon USA or Nikon Global, who has this campaign? I bought the D810 in Nov 2014 and paid USD 2,250, which is Itill the price in Saigon. It is with 6 months warranty, if buying from the official importer you get 12 warranty for abt USD 300 more. If it is Nikon Global it should have an influence on the price here too.
5. I still have mine since 2007 and now only use it occasionally, but the viewfinder now has exactly the same color as originally, and it has been stored in a very warm and humit climate until 2 months ago, when I invested in a dry cabinet - for D810/700 ++.
6. Dieter Schaefer - I am aware that Nikon's prices here are extremely low compared to the rest of the world even the region - I never to sensor cleaning myself, as they only charge usd 6 -:)
7. Recently I had accident with my 24-70mm first version also having damaged the zoom ring and the cover just behind the front lens, but it was still functioning. I decided to travel the 425km to Nikon Service Center, who had a look and said: pick it up in 3 hours and I got a bill for USD 44. I also have the 17-35mm and I would do exactly the same for that one, as it performs extremely well even that it is a very old design (analog).
8. OK then I am sorry, that I cannot recommend any repair shop.
9. Nikon should just advise us, that due to the financial situation, then nothing special will be released. I will refrain from putting a word on what they plan now -:(
10. An early rainy and foggy morning in Central Vietnam D700, 17-35mm f/7.1, 1/80", iso 400
11. I had never noticed this proble previously, and I it the first time I have experienced it since 1997, when I bought my first Nikon, so I do not think it is a general problem on the DSLR bodies.
12. the cheapest new D7200 is likely this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nikon-D7200-24-2MP-DX-Format-CMOS-Sensor-Digital-SLR-Body-Black-Brand-New-/171734006218?hash=item27fc24f9ca:g:-YAAAOSw3v5YqCj2

15. Illka Nissila - I assume the lit green light is a marking to assist in deciding the lenght of the jump. There ought to be more lines in different colours. This is my guess, as I have not seen ski jumping for many years -:)
16.
The position should only been shown when a functional gps is attached, and connection to satellite obtained.
I have had several 3rd party gps and the quality of these not always good. Which brand/models have you been using?

19.
Came across the a question today regarding showing the white balance setting in the view finder/LCD screens just like you have the ISO, shutter speed etc.
I am aware that all experts say no need, as if you use RAW then it is a piece of cake to change it in PS or LR etc.
Are there any Nikon models, which can show this optional information f.inst. like bracketing - turn on/off?

20.
I have the Zagg screen protector on both D300 and D700 for years, which are excellent, and I have been lookingad to for the same for my D810, but unfortunately they do not ship to Vietnam any longer, so I had to settle with the JJC brand, which I have had no problems with.
