4.
Sorry, the eagle is a very young White bellied Sea Eagle - to difficult for an amateur -:)

 5.
A Mountain Hawk Eagle I met the other day - never seen previously on my many trips.

 6.
Have just found some landscape photos, which I do not do a lot in - this from the small fishing village Luong Son north of my home town Nha Trang

 7.
Vendor finish her purchase of mussels at the beach fish market

 8.
I have had a Meike grip for about 2 months and I cannot boost the frame rate, I only have more power along, which I like, as I always have a GPS connected. I used the EN-EL15 both in grip and camera and have never tried with AA batteries.

 9.
Kari Oinonen - it is functioning !! it change the time and today it also change the date, however, that is only in the example shown, when you actually transfer the photo, the correct data are linked to the photo! So now I need to take a management decision: trailing nos. or time - I do not need/like any of these -:)
Thank you for your time and assistance.

 10.
Kari Oinonen - thank you very much for you assistance/help. It is not exactly what I want as the time is not important for me, but may be for others in connection with gps-tracking. However, I tried various alternatives, and it turns out on my PC, that for the date/time the time is when it is transferred from CF card to PC and not as shot! I do not have any photos on my cards from yesterday or earlier, so I do not know yet it the date shot also will the date transferred, but I will check that tomorrow before I go on a week photo trip (without internet -:))

 11.
I thank both of your for your efforts and comments, but unfortunately the trailing No. still appears. I will check if one of my friends still have an old version of the ViewNX2, which does have this 'facility', which I do not see the purpose for, but on the other hand, many of us have a different work flow preference.

 12.
I want the following settings in the latest version of the above software:
File Naming:
Prefix: None
Suffix: New name+Original name
so the the file name should read as follows:
Date shot_Original name_.nef
however, I cannot avoid having the Traling number included, which does not say
me anything, for which reason I want to avoid it.
How can I avoid it?

 13.
The Sigma f/2.8 would imho be the one to use. 300mm ought to be sufficient, as I assume you will be on the floor, and can therefore only cover one team at a time due to the net - plus of course the battles on top of the net.

 14.
You do not require to take the battery out of camera for using the grip on any of the Nikon cameras.
I am normally using car when travelling and bring along 3 batteries for my D700 and D810 respectivel, and the spare is charged in the car during driving, and I could definitely not use the camera body as charger, as I am properly stopping 4-5 times per hour to take photos.

 15.
Javier Gutierrez - exif are now available -:)

 16.
Pontus Wallsten - welcome to the club -:) it is a12 in the menu. I had exactly the same 'problem' last week, and I still do not know, how it was changed in the menu, unless it did itself, when I fixed the 2x converter to my 70-200mm. It was my very first bird photos.

 17.
I can get a new D810 with 6 months warranty for USD 2,124 in Saigon -:)

 18.
After the factory reset the copyright icon appears on the LCD screen, however, the page with the actual information do not appear. I tried to switch off the copyright, but leaving the menu by OK or arrows the icon remains on the LCD and when entering the menu again, it is still ON ! Until I get to Saigon I will add the information in LR, if I find it necessary.

 19.
I can find the copyright information in LR, Exiftool, VietNX2, ViewNX-I and ACDSee, but not on the LCD screen on the camera house. The gps data are not in any of the above programs except a very few from 1 day early August, but they all showed the same position despite the locations were about 300km apart! After the re-installation of the camera software, I tried a factory reset, however, still same lack of info.

 20.
Chris - I use Lightroom
sorry for late response, but I has been out of town

 21.
Kari Oinonen - I always use NEF. The GPS system was not functioning, so now I am not using any GPS at all, and the result is still the same, no copyright information.
I cannot see any copyright icon at all, but I will have Nikon Service Center to have a look at it later this year, as it is not that often, I go to Saigon any longer.

 22.
I have used it the whole day today and have not experienced any malfunctions, and I have decided that I will not use any of the GPS units I have at present. The copyright information are in the metadata, but the GPS data are not, the former are seen in the LR and I do not think you see that on the LCD screen.
When viewing the photo then the sequence is:
1. Date and time, focus point
2. Highlights
3. Histogram
4. Exif
and then back to 1. Same as D300

Pressing the info button I do not see any copyright ikon -
I checked the D810 no copyright icon, but everything are shown.

 23.
I could not fall asleep, so I was thinking ! I had used it yesterday, and I just transferred the photos to LR5 and ther e I could the copyright information, so it is only on the LCD screen at the back of the camerahouse, and that I can live with. I have been using the JYC N-769/N1 GPS for a couple of years, and all of a sudden it did not show the data on the LCD screen too, and it also started to register wrong positions. Had a case yesterday where it registered a position I was on 3 weeks ago - about 300km from the actual position.
Shun Cheung I will try your proposals and if not functioning I take it to Nikon Service Center in Saigon next time I go there, it costs a fraction of what you would pay.
Thank you for your time and proposals.

 24.
I have just noticed, that my D700 do not write the copyright information to the photos any longer. I have the latest software installed and did it again as an update, but still no information is written to the metadata.
I have had the camera since it was launched and never had a malfunction before. Anything I can do or is it for repair? It is more or less only my backup camera to my D810, so I will survive, but I prefer to have a fully functional camera.
