The street sign is about 3 blocks away from where I was standing.

simple but very imaginative! Might be an interesting series to change the orientation of the various eyebrows as a comic strip

wonderful lighting and textures! The trees in the distance look like mirage reflections
-
The copperish overtones are very interesting

Nice composition, but there seems to be that HDR graying in the grass area that gives an unnatural look. I find that with HDR, a little goes a long way

I love visiting small town cemeteries. you can bring a pad and follow the families. Lighting is nice on this shot, captures the shadows well

It was during the 12/26 NYC snowstorm. I wanted to give it a turn of the last century look. If you look at the next (or previous) shot, you'll see the original (very slight tint, also black and white.) By the way, this and all the other shots in the album, and the fall album as well, were done with HDR, with only one or two exceptions.

Perfect name for the picture. Beautiful detail and softness

I took the same shot! Yours has a much better light than mine did though

I already added a lot in this one. These trees were particularly brown. This is in a whole album of these HDR landscapes that have lots of reds. Thanks for looking!

Really captures the feeling of light working through the flowers

It really brings out the coldness and smoothness of the metal. great detail and lighting. Is it some sort of museum?

Love the designs that tracks make in the yards. Matched against the chaotic lines of the buildings, it makes a nice contrast.

Reminds me of a documentary I saw about the Salton Sea out in the California desert. When it first filled up, it was a resort area. But it was very strongly alkali, so eventually it killed whatever fish try to grow in it and became very foul smelling as everything in the lake died. The resorts were all abandoned and looked a lot like this. Gives a good feeling of the life that was there once, especially the old toys.
