Beautiful effect. Will have to look into this one. The colors are so rich against the black, and the patterns add so much to it.

This is almost a timeless shot. too bad about the lock on the bike. Love the rich contrasts in the colors.

these are very funny, rubber chickens on hooks. Here is my take on hanging chickens, taken in Athens.

Love it! For some reason it reminds me of the lines in American cars from the late 50s with all the curves and fins.

Wonderful! Great capture of the textures in the cape blowing. Nice contrast against the light colored stones too.

I probably would have cut the yellows out of the white balance. And it wouldn't have looked so good. One of the most amazing places I've ever been to.
Great picture. It captures both the rich beauty of the design and reflects the amazing amount of work that goes into it.

Like so many shots like this that I've taken, it gets a lot of detail, but it misses an engagement with the people. That's the hardest thing in street photography, but it makes the difference between an OK shot and a great one. Maybe someone walking with the food facing the camera.

I can hear the real estate salesman, "you don't buy the house, you buy the neighborhood."
Just gorgeous, wonderful light and details.

I think you're gonna need a bigger boat.
This popped up again in the comments on old posts, just a beautiful image.

It was quite innocent actually. The figure on the right was a photographer and they were doing some modeling shots with kids at the arch at Washington Square Park. But there were lots of deep shadows, so I worked with that.

Can't argue there. definitely a grab shot. Johnny there on the tshirt was the key for me, just at the right angle.

Just a shot of an alley, but you made magic out of it!
