Really captures the feeling of light working through the flowers

I just returned from shooting for three hours in snow and freezing fog, I'm chilled to the bone, and your photo looks so absolutely wonderful.  The shallow DOF with OOF areas in the foreground and background works very well, and I'm glad the open sky has just the right brightness (i.e., not glaringly bright).

I agree with the last comment and I think that the bright background has a more natural look.  That's not to say the other shot was unnatural but this one comes accross with the feel of an open medow on a summer day.
