  1. Guess it was moderated before I saw it. Was the spam posted in this thread?
  2. Mandela effect. It has always been this way. Shhh. Let the conspiracy theorists run with it. Fruit of the Loom never had a cornucopia and the Monopoly guy never had a monocle. There never was Jiffy peanut butter. Lol.

It's nice not to be left hanging. Canon 5D MK IV - Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8
  4. Perhaps new users photo uploads need to be vetted first before posted publicly. Once an admin sees the new user is posting legit photos, the member gets boosted to a higher level and their postings will no longer need to be vetted. This at least could slow spammers down. Or a new user gets a verification code sent to their phone. Once the phone number is logged that phone number can't be used for another spammer account. New user can post one image in 24 hours until vetted.
  5. The image was posted in 2002, I don't recall seeing the image, but it has been 21 years so maybe a have.

  12. The new equipment forum organization was probably done with well meaning intent, seems to add an extra layer and could be thought out by someone more experienced with cameras and maufacturers. I will point out a few issues, Canon EOS makes/made Film, DSLR and Mirrorless Cameras Nikon makes/made Film, DSLR and Mirrorless Cameras Sony makes/made DSLR and Mirrorless Just and observation.

The weather has finally given us a break as of Tuesday out here on the Central California coast. I have had two days of shooting. We got hit with some rough seas and rain here in the Monterey-Salinas area and some areas had flooding. Some areas survived nicely, the two shots of the beach lost a lot of dunes and farther up the board walks are roped off while they are assessing damage. The coastline is always changing. The good news is it brought much needed rain and the weatherman on TV is calling for sunny days for the next 7 days. Hope the weather is good for you wherever you may be.
