The Somali ostrich was named a separate species from the common ostrich in 2016, after being identified as a distinct species in 2014. You are more likely to find them only in Samburu, Kenya in East Africa.

It would be nice to see some of your photos. Initially I hadn't planned to go anywhere for it, but then I stumbled upon some info just a few hours ago - that we can expect to see about 90% of the eclipse right here in Cape Cod. What a delightful surprise, especially when the weather forecasts a sunny day - which is unexpected because all we got was rain for days and days.
