It depends on which Hasselblad shade you have. The early version that I use had 2 different adapter rings, 1 was the B50 bayonet which fit the 80, 120, 150, 250 lenses and the other was the Series 63 which fit the 50 and the SWC. Series 63 is the same as Series 8 drop in filters (Tiffen). You can get adapter rings (such as 49mm, 52, 55, 58, 62, etc) to the Series 8 thread, then screw the Blad ring into it. I have used the 1st generation Blad shade on Canon, Nikon, 4x5 view camera lenses and of course Hasselblad, all prime lenses. They are very good at minimizing flare light when properly used. They would be a pain to use with a zoom lens. One other thing to think about is the weight hanging out on the end of an autofocus lens. Most AF systems are not very robust in construction, any weight could cause wear problems on the motors/mechs.

Way back in the early 80's I did a comparison test between Blad, Bronica, Mamiya RB and Mamiya 645. Back then any medium format system was a major investment and I wanted to make sure the Blad was worth it. I seriously looked at image quality, ease of use, system accessories, reliability, ease of repair, cost of repair plus a few other things that I can't remember now. In terms of image quality the Blad won hands down. Bronica was a distant second, then RB and the 645 last. All 4 did an excellent job, its just that the Blad was much more excellent. Of course sample variance can make a big difference in any test or actual daily use results. I went with the Blad and have been very happy with the results. If you perceive a problem then you should have the camera checked by a Blad certified repairperson, they are quite complex and require special tools/training for proper repair.

Fiber based paper requires a longer fix time even in fresh fix, I give mine at least 5 minutes, some papers I give 10 minutes. Check the info sheet that came with the paper, it should give you the correct range of fix times.

Olympus OM-1 MD with Zuiko 50mm F/1.4 lens. This is a good user camera, everything works. Meter is responsive, when I install a 1.55 volt battery the meter reads off by several stops which is normal for a 1.55 battery. This is NOT the "N" version of the OM-1, it does have the motor drive connection and it does have the MD cap. The body has rub marks and a few scratches. The body has the split image screen. The lens SR# is 1030665, above the one million mark, which is the most desired series of the 1.4 lenses, UNFORTUNATELY this lens has a very small rub mark in the coating/glass dead center of the rear element. I have photographed extensively with this lens and have seen no effect, I always use a lens hood. As you can see in the photos the lens markings are a bit faded from decades of use, the focus is smooth and the blades are snappy. I am offering for sale my Zeiss Ikoflex IIa TLR camera with lens cap and instructions. I hate selling this but I have too many cameras and need to thin the herd. All functions work on the camera. The shutter operates at all speeds at room temp, I do not know how it works below 40* temp as I have not photographed with this camera in cold temps. The focus is smooth and accurate. The viewfinder GG is clear but does need cleaning. The flash X sync works. The body has wear but the covering is in very good condition for its age. The Tessar lens is very good shape, it does have dust and very light cleaning marks. Please study the photos to get a better idea of its condition. This IIa would make an excellent everyday shooter, but as with any antique camera, a proper CLA will insure proper function in the future. I will also include a strap.
