  1. This will be shipped in a small padded case that fits everything nicely.
  2. FS: Hasselblad Cut Film Adapter, 4 holders and film cutter. Excellent condition only used a few times. The cutter does have a broken piece but still works ok. Please view the photos for the condition. $150.00 plus shipping Sold as is. No refund or return. USA sales only. PM with questions.
  3. Correct. I then went to the 20th Century site where they did not show them out but I did not look any further on their site to see if I could order them. Their site had them priced $5 higher than Freestyle, perhaps when they are back in stock at Freestyle they will be at a higher price.
  4. So I went looking for such a reel and lookie what I found, 20th Century 2"x3" Quick Load Film Processing Reel - 6 Sheets | Freestyle Photo & Imaging. Now all you have to do is justify the cost. I may order this for my self. Has anyone used this reel?
  5. The options for developing 2x3 film in your particular situation are somewhat limited. Ideally, you want the film to be secured in some type of holder/reel/hanger to minimize scratches, damage. You also want to use only the amount of chemical needed to cover the film and give complete development, no need to use a ½ gallon tank to develop 2 sheets of 2x3 film when 16 oz will work just fine. IMO, a Paterson/Jobo tank (16 oz) with a modified reel would fit the bill for you. Unfortunately, I don’t know of such a reel, commercially made, for 2x3 film, perhaps someone will chime in with the source for one. This reel, of course, will cost some money and might be dedicated just to 2x3 film, only you can determine if the cost is worth the effort. I personally have had the same problem, I’ve tried several ways of developing 2x3 film: hangers in a small open tank in complete darkness, a Combiplan tank configured for 2x3 film (not ideal since the film can’t be “locked” in, taco style in a Paterson tank (too many scratched). I do have a darkroom where I can do this, plus I’m retired and no kids or grandkids. Right now I use the Combiplan tank, I just have to be very careful with the agitation so as not to dislodge the film in the rack.
  6. For Sale is a Canon P 35mm rangefinder camera with a 55mm f/2.8 Industar 61 lens in user shape. The camera is in good condition, it does have marks and a scrap from the rewind lever on the top plate. The shutter operates at all speeds except 1 sec (in cold weather). Not sure of the accuracy of the speeds. The self-timer does not work, it buzzes down but does not trip the shutter. The rangefinder patch is bright and in alignment. The viewfinder is clear and all 3 frame lines are intact and bright. The wind is smooth but does have a faint squeak when wound. The shutter curtains do have wrinkles but works correctly. The Industar 61 lens is in quite good shape, clear glass, lovely coatings. The iris does have a bit of oil on the blades but has not caused any problems with closing down. The focus feels a little dry but smooth, like many I-61’s, this one rattles, it has always given me crisp images. The Canon 100mm f/3.5 lens is a paper weight, many scratches to the front element and this one suffers from the dreaded middle element corrosion. It is soft focus and is very, very low contrast. Please study the photos for the condition. PM with questions $150.00 for all plus postage of your choice. 4.5 lbs weight Sold as is, no return or refund. USA sales only.
  7. The image is full frame, printed on my Focomat V-35. 4x6 image on 5x7 paper. I am still trying to dial in the best developer and times for the 5222.
  8. I am reopening this thread because I have discovered something new, to me, about this lens. Mainly, it has not been dropped and is not damaged, it is just very well used. I initially thought it was fuzzy when I mounted it on my FE2 so I did not take any photos with it. This perceived fuzziness really bugged me because I could not find anything broken, bent or otherwise damaged on the lens, so I reattached the mount and made a few pictures with it. This time the viewfinder image was better, not as crisp as my AF 24mm Nikkor but much better than the first look. I took a photo of the living room, intentionally including the fan light to check for flare. The image is not too bad, not as good as the AF Nikkor 24 but none the less quite useable. The exposure was f/11 for 1 sec. It is back for sale: $30.00 plus shipping of your choice.
  9. 1 Nikon CF-27. I think it is for the FE series. It is falling apart, the cover is separating at the top and bottom. The half case is in very good condition. 1 Minolta case I think is for the the Hi-Matic 7 series. It is well used, dirty, lots of marks, the cover hinge is getting weak. Free for postage. Appx. 2 pounds boxed for shipping. You choose how you want it sent. Let know.
  10. Vivitar Electronic Flash Meter 2 with case Excellent condition, looks hardly used, a few small marks in the finish. Uses a standard 9v battery. I installed a battery, it turned on, I fired the camera flash, the led’s lit up, see the pictures. I do not know if the reading is correct since the digital slr flash control is automatic. It looks like it works. Sold as is, no return or refund. I don’t need this one as I have 2 other flash meters that I don’t use much. Battery not included. $25.00 plus postage, $6.00 for First Class package
  11. D.O. Industries Navitron 8.5 mm f/2.8. This appears to be a bar code reader lens or some type of a scanner/product identification lens. It looks to be unused except for a nick in the finish of the front lens housing. f/stops from 2.8 to 16. The threaded mount is appx. 19mm in diameter. The flange focus is about ½ inch. Overall length is 5 inches, 1.25 inch diameter. You say you don’t have a spare bar code reader lying around without a lens, that’s ok, you can just experiment with it. $20.00 plus postage Offers/trades considered
  12. I tried to edit this but was too late. Even though I see blue reflections in the front element consider this to an uncoated lens. It was made during the transition to coated elements, 1945.
  13. FS: Kodak Ektar 101mm f/4.5 in user condition User condition, wear marks on the shutter, the front and rear elements do have marks, a good lens hood would minimize any flare. The front elements look to be coated but can’t tell on the rear elements. The Supermatic 400 shutter works at all speeds. Speeds are consistent but slow, 1 sec is about 1.5-2 sec. The 5 blade aperture stops to f/32. This is the standard lens for the 2x3 Speed Graphic. Includes the retaining ring. I am reducing my collection and will be listing many items in the near future. Sold as is, no return. Payment by Paypal. Shipping is extra. $65.00 + shipping
  14. It is a triplet, I was able to remove the components and inspect them, the rear is a sealed single lens, the front unit's second element is also sealed, the front most element was in correctly. Thanks for your reply.
  15. FS: Tamron BBAR Multi C 24mm f/2.5 for parts repair For parts/ repair because there is considerable distortion/softness in the corners, edges of the image. It may have been dropped. The lens had led a rough life, marks on the front and rear lenses, paint loss on the body. The aperture works and is snappy, focus is smooth. Does not have a mount, this is the lens only. No caps but will be very well packed for transport. Sold as is, no return. I am reducing my collection and will be listing many items in the near future. USA sales only. Payment by Paypal. Shipping is extra. $30.00 + shipping
  16. Mystery Schneider lens I have come across a lens that I cannot for sure identify what it fits. Here are the specs: Schneider Anastigmat 50mm f/3.5 with an M39 LTM mount. The lens unit is deeply recessed in the housing which is heavy brass. The distance scale is in feet so I am assuming it is for the USA market. The distance scale focuses to just under 2 feet. The Flange focus is appx 47mm. While it will mount on my Canon P body the focus is way off. I next used a M39 to M42 thread adapter to mount it on my Spotmatic body, it still would not focus to infinity when the lens focus mark was set at infinity. I could achieve infinity by cranking the focus out a bit. The image is rather soft even stopped down to f/11 I believe it might fit the Braun Paxette but it looks completely different from the ones listed on the auction site. Had anyone here seen this lens on a camera?
  17. FS: Optics for experimenting I’m cleaning the clutter in my darkroom and would like to offer these for experimentation. They will not fit any camera. Both appear to be from a surveillance type system, the back focus is appx ½ inch from the rear lens element. Perhaps you can take them apart and use the elements to make a new lens?, telescope? Both are in fair to poor condition. #1: Rodenstock XR-Heligon 50mm unknown f/ stop. Heavy marks on the front element. Oddly, the mount threads are M42, but it will not mount on any of my screw mount bodies because the rear lens part is too big, it hits the focus screen housing. #2: Canon Lens XI 50mm F/ .75. Front and rear elements are in fair shape, a few small scratches, BUT lots of dust on the inner elements. Has a heavy brass and aluminum mount. Sold as is, no return They are heavy, about 4.5 pounds when boxed. $25.00 plus shipping. PM with questions
  18. No one has used this lens? Know anyone who has? Anyone know of a site that has done a review of this lens? I've seen this lens for sale at a reasonable price on the auction site and was curious as to the image quality.
  19. Super Topcor 65mm f/7 Lens? Anyone have this lens in their 6x9 kit? How does it compare (image quality) to other 65mm lenses of any medium/large format. Is it comparable to the 65/6.8 Angulon, 65mm f/8 Super Angulon OR is it a lens to avoid? Any sample photos made with the Topcor?
  20. Have a look at this e*ay listing. Beseler 50mm Cadet II Enlarger with Baseboard Model 3502 No Lens | eBay The seller posted a pix of the lens mounting area showing the retaining ring. Once you remove the lamphouse and crank the lens stage all the way up you should be able to access the ring on your lens. The Beslar lens is an entry level quality lens, ok for 5x7's and maybe uncropped 8x10's once you stop down to f/8 or 11. There are much better lenses for not much money. Nikon 50mm f/4, Rodenstock Omegaron, Schneider Companor, BUT the best lenses are just a few dollars more, Nikon 50mm f/2.8, Rodenstock Rodagons, Schneider Componons, the newer the better. Fuji also makes excellent enlarging lenses, I just don't know the specific names of their line. Most enlarging lens makers have an entry level line and a professional line, always go for the pro line.
  21. yep, I did that 45 years ago, sans the prism, I used the drop down mirror in the finder hood.
