Hello. I probably have the wrong forum. It seems when they switched this site around I cannot find anything anymore. I apologize if so. I was looking through my manual film lenses and came across a Samigon 1a 67mm 200 lens. I am wondering what film cameras it fits on if any. All help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Err on my Nikon N90 film camera.

Thank you for your advice. I have a Nikon auto lens on it and it was stuck on the 3.5 lock lever but did everything else you mentioned as well and it worked. -
Err on my Nikon N90 film camera.

I just turned it on and the err message appeared. The camera has not been used in a long while. -
Hello. I posted this once before but cannot find my post on it. So I thought I would try again. Am I able to fix this on my own or does it require to be serviced? Does anyone know why this happens? Thank you in advance.

Carla Bruni by Jean-Baptiste Mondino
eddy_d replied to John Peri's topic in Casual Photo Conversations
The US is uptight about nudity. Other countries not so much. Yet we will show violence in newspapers and on the news as well as dead bodies but a nude person. Get out the torches and battering ram because Frankensteins Monster is in our life. Art classes have nude models and no one bats an eye yet there are artists who are uptight about nudity especially in art shows. "Oh we are family oriented." or "children may see it." Parents bring their kids to nude beaches. They probably grow up with no body shame. I am on some photo groups on Facebook and someone will post a censored nude. You should see the testosterone putting down the model. " How can she disrespect herself like that?" She ought to be ashamed of herself." So I said. Please go to an art class and tell the model she is disrespecting herself in front of all the artists. And let me know how it went afterwards. -
And you think Digiital is cleaner for the environment? Cell phones , digital cameras and Computers have lead and cadmium and other hazardous materials in them. They are not bio degradable and are filling up landfills. The technology is developed at break neck speeds so what is coming out now is already obsolete and then discarded for the new. Computers, and other E waste are listed as hazardous waste where I live and cannot be thrown out with the regular trash.

Nikon N90/90s Err message
eddy_d replied to eddy_d's topic in The Wet Darkroom: Film, Paper & Chemistry
Thanks Rick. I will try what you posted. Yes they are a good camera and I will really be bummed if I cannot use it. -
Hello Everyone. I have a question. I misplaced my Nikon N90 and recently found it today. When I turned it on. It had the letters Err in the LCD display. I tried new batteries and put a new roll of film in it but to no avail. My Nikon N90s did the same thing not too long ago. Is this a common problem with the Nikon N/.90/90s series or is it a problem with all the automatic series of Nikon cameras? Is there a do it yourself fix or does it need to go to the repair shop? Thank you in advance

Crummy old film

I actually like it. -
I was talking about doing the post work yourself not taking it to a lab and have them do it.And you need to have your film developed in a wet machine that is still using chemicals. Even digital files printed on a wet machine supposedly look better. I never had problems with reprints not looking the same. There was a lab I used to go to that could put your digital files on a blank roll of film and then develop the film. They didn't look bad at all.

In Digital the camera does the work for you. In film you have to set the camera up to do what you want because there is no photoshop or computer installed. And you are going to color correct and photoshop 100s of bad photos? As the saying goes you can't polish a turd so why bother. And if you are hired for a job I don't think the person that hired you is going to appreciate you spraying and praying. That has been looked down upon for a long time. No professional photographer would do that . And cameras coming out now the technology is obsolete because something better comes out the next time a new camera comes out with better bells and whistles. Now you have mirrorless cameras that are going to put mirrored cameras out of businesss because it will eventually be all mirrorless. And without film you would not have digital cameras or photosop. Cell phones are putting digital cameras almost out of business. The censors are better and the instagram generation doesn't want a regular digital camera. The phone is just as good. They are making movies with I phones. As someone told me what they're digital photography teacher told them. Take photos as if you just had a roll of 36 exposure film and when it comes to photoshop less is more.

I saw a 5 pack on ebay. . -
I shoot fresh and expired film. I like the color shifts in the expired color. I also cross process my slide film. I have a dorm fridge full and a tupperware in a bigger fridge. Mostly expired and discontinued..
