Thanks for the comments and criticisms. It gives me a good reason to go back again:)

Lord knows why I didn't go further left. Also wondering about more sky. I
like the road in the foreground but more sky would have been nice.

Thanks for the criticisms. I tried horizontal but it seemed to lose the billowy flow of that big cloud mass. It's the first time I used Silver Efex software. It's pretty cool.

Awesome photo! Just simply awesome!
In regards to one of the comments, I find it odd and maybe offensive that one would take another person's photo, tweak it, and then ask them what they think of it.

Thanks for looking. These were at the San Francisco Botanical Gardens.

Yes. It's true. A black and white wildflower photo.

Thanks for the feedback. The whole thing looks a little flat and the more I look, the less thrilled I am with the mountains. I wanted to show how the area really is blanketed with these flowers so I thought the mountains in back would give nice perspective. Now it just looks dull with a stab of color in the lower half. I'm not sure it is salvageable but I'll rework it a bit. I do appreciate the feedback.

Thanks for looking. This is off Bear Mountain Road east of Arvin. Watch out for slack-
jawed yokels pulling off the road or, in some cases, just stopping on the road.

Great shot. It really is neat to frame within a frame. I've toyed with this a bit when I was at the crater. I could never resolve whether I thought it looked best showing the top of the brick or bringing down the upper border of the photo so it falls within the upper brick of the frame window. I like yours.
