Karl Schuler 48 Posted May 25, 2010 This is one of a series of vertical panoramas from the Gobi desert, depicting the varying colours and shapes of the land, depending on the time of the day and the weather conditions. Thanks for taking your time. Your comments and ratings are highly appreciated. Karl Link to comment
mbp 0 Posted May 26, 2010 This is tough for me to critique, as I can't see the entire image on one screen (I have to scroll to see the image). I think I really like the idea behind the image, where you're doing a vertical panorama to show the changes in shades of reds, oranges, browns, and into the blues. You do have some really nice colors (it feels as if its a series of stacked colors, one on top of the other). Rather nice, from what I can tell. Link to comment

jeff.grant 0 Posted May 31, 2010 Karl,I will keep coming back to this image as each view shows me something different. The patterns and colour transitions are beautiful. I like the hint of scale that the distant animals provide. Link to comment
Karl Schuler 48 Posted June 4, 2010 Thank you all for your comments. I must say, I like scrolling down through these layers of colours. I see some amazing shifts of tones. I remember the saying: Nature is always right when it comes to matching colours. Karl Link to comment
