It is low light. You can tell that this is being illuminated by a street lamp of some sort.
-
The image is totally blurry. Try using a tripod next time in low light.

Looks somewhere near Sunset Beach or maybe Turtle Bay. I was just out there a week ago. I miss it already.

Yinka, I feel the same way. In many ways I feel we have the same style and in other ways we have different styles but I still respect and enjoy all your work. We share the same passion for photography, life, and of course we have the same Father. Congrats Yinka for your accomplishments. You definitely deserve them.
P.S. It's the equipment that records the images. It's the artist who makes those images great. You're a good example of that.

Congrats Yinka. Don't foget about us little people. ;)

I won't shoot the game until Saturday. I'm suprised they let you use flash. You're not allowed to use flash for Virginia HS sports.

Whoops, yeah does not work well. I got a near perfect surf shot and the guy's hand is cut off. I was pissed.
-
Kelly, this one does work well because of her hand being cropped and her arm hiding a part of her face.
-
Like this one the best from your recent stuff. Got the guy in the air with a MJ type of expression.

Not bad Adrian. Composition is excellent. It could be sharper. Decent dynamic range. Parts of it need a boost in contrast.

Aplogies Mike for the ignorant "tire" comment. I guess if they were tire marks, there would be some indentions in the sand too. ;)

Thanks John.

Paolo, I much prefer your earlier posts of this simular shot. The treatment you gave this one renders it a bit flat on the uppper portion of the image. It almost looks like it has a mask of gray haze over it. My guess is that you're trying to pull out some more dynamic range, but I think you're sacraficing image quality by doing that.

LOL, oh now that's funny. Good PS surgery Walt.

Eileen, if you're going to request critiques on your photos, you may want to turn off the time/date feature on your camera. As far as the images goes, I don't think it works well. The way it is composed, it looks like the barge is going straight for her nose and the yellow bar into her mouth. There's also a color cast and it needs a fill flash. At least your horizon is level.

Yeah, I was pretty bummed that I his fingers weren't included in the frame when I captured this.

Nice one Walt. Great exposure on what must have been a very difficult situation, dealing with the dark rocks, moving water and the sun's rays. I like how my eye starts from the bottom of the stream and is rewarded when I follow it up by the gentle light casting from above. Might be one of your best considering the conditions.

Can't really see Mt Hood. You should have shot this about 15-20 minutes prior to this when the light would have been less harsh and bright. As it is right now, you have a bright white and yellow spot casting smaller red spots.

I miss it already. I've been back for about 10 days now, wondering when I'm going back. This is awesome. Where was it taken?
