I really dont know why I like this shot.. but I do very much... Perhaps the clashing of fantastic shapes, and fantastic colors... i would however of gone with more DOF...

I think the wood adds to the photo. Where else do you suggest I place my firearm? Josh, Macros are usually shot up close, and at this distance a large DOF is hard to obtain. My lens cannot go more shallow then f32 (which is what this was shot at), so this is as much DOF as I can achieve with my equipment. Plus, I think its neat with just the bullet and the barrel in focus. Thanks for the nice comments guys! (by the way david, no flash was used here, simply a hand held room light exposed at 15 seconds I believe)

very interesting. I think it would be infinitly better with the following two changes:

1.) center subject rathr than low and to the right

2.) object top right corner is distracting.

Very intersting. I find it hard to move on to the next photo, until I can figure out what it is.

    good dog, bad dog

At first I didn't see the little guy bottom left, and I wondered why you were calling the guy on top a "bad dog" :(. Although lacking a little asthetic quality and cropping, brings in some good humor. (I would crop the left side up to the bottom of the window chrome, and I would crop the right up close to the dog)

WOW.. This is a great shot. I love the cropping, and the great pastel like colors. The ONLY thing distracting me, is the reflection in the glass.

Too much tweak in the blue direction. All the shaded snow has turned an unatural shade of blue, and the sky is obviously oversaturated. Composition = A, post click production = C-

The entire photo is not overexposed by 1 stop. The trees, mountains, clouds are definitly NOT overexposed, just the reflection in the water is burned.

I think its a really nice portrait, but the photo needs a little bit of work. Her face seems out of focus, and there are a few harsh shadows on her face that take away from the photo. I think if the lighting were better, and she were in proper focus, this would be a fantastic portrait.
