Thank you for your time everybody :)

Odd. This distortion caused by the lens almost makes me queezy. Great subject, average picture.

Well, this wasn't a "model" sort of speak where we setup the shot. This is a picture of a friend of mine playing the piano. I guess you could call it more jounalistic then what you are picturing.
If I cropped out the left hand, either A) part of the right hand would be cropped off too, leaving a TINY square composition, or B) only a fraction of the left hand would be showing. I think that would be even more distracting either way.

its a little small to discern much. I think the subject is far more interesting then you managed to of capture. Something in the crop is distracting to me too.. I think because the top of this persons hair is just to the edge of the crop. Maybe a tighter or looser crop would work better.

I would shoot it again without the shoes :)

the obvious studio setup with the wrinkled sheet is the most distracting thing here. I think this shot would be better just about anywhere. gorgeous model, good pose.

I am not sure what this guy is, but he sure was hard to catch.
Thanks for your CC!

Thank you for your comments Carl, I apprecaite them and I must say I admire your work.
I myself am not bothered one bit about the far hand being OOF. I wouldn't change that. I do agree however that the ring on her left hand, takes from the importance of the one on her right hand (the subject), but that is her wedding ring, and would never ask her to remove it. I am more interested in capturing things as they happen, rather then stage them.
You are incorrect about the pose however. This was captured while playing. Such an observation would be near impossible to make. There are an infinite amount of hand positions you could capture through even a single composition. Heck, taking the shot at the right spot might even catch their hands completely off they piano... how could you possibly discern that?

Thanks for your comment mark! Always great to hear from an expert. I will play with some diag crops and see what i get... Thanks again.

direct on-camera flash has ruined any ambiance, and the crop is distracting. You might want to practice with off camera lighting, and aranging your compositions.

Hey everybody, this is my first insect macro. Thanks for your C&C!
HAve a great week.

I know the subject matter isn't the most original, I just hope to of
captured it in a unique light. Your thoughts?

this photo ironically has absolutly nothing of interest in it.

This is mysteriously fantastic... One of the coolest photos I have seen on photo.net in a long time. I don't know why you have this in your "garbage" folder, I think this is the best photo in your photo.net portfolio.

This picture is THIISSS (put fingers close together) close to being absolutly fantastic. I don't mind one bit that you can see slightly up her nose, in this shot everything about your daughter is completely beautiful. I also don't mind that the male isn't really laughing. He ALMOST looks like he is lost in a loving stare, which if deep enough, can hold back even the funniest moment. The one thing that DOES bother me, are his eyes. I don't know if this is just how he looks, or wheather you caught him blinking, but his eyes look unaturally closed. Either more open, or completely closed would of been much better.
Either way, your daughters face put a smile on mine.
