I have recently developed an interest in architectual photography.
Thank you for your comments and constructive critisism on this one.
Have a great night.

Obvious saturation boost, and hue change in PS. I don't like photos like this. I prefer the natural colors the sky produces.

Oh yeah, the photograph. I would reshoot this photo without the lamp or the extra keyboard in the forground at all, then reframe the same subject, in the same pose. The lighting is great, and the table and wall work well togther.

Alberto Conde, I don't think it is appropriate to voice your opinions of American foreign policy here on this guy's critique request. If I had it my way, I would just bomb Palestine into a huge pile of rubble. Screw those child murdering terrorists. By the way, where is "Irak?"

cutting at the knees isn't as bad as cutting off at the feet, but this would be stonger cropped up to his waste perhaps.

This photo really belongs on a wall! I rarely comment on photos, usually only taking the time when one strikes something inside me. This one in particular is the best in your portfolio. Something about the bizzare tilt and the unique placement of subjects makes this very very good. I almost feel like I have my head hanging out of a window.
I also get a very neat feeling that the man in the corner is admiring the motorcycle on the opposite corner, perhaps day dreaming about a motorcycle ride getaway! Very cool.
The only two things that distract me, are the very ends of the cars located mid-right, and botom-right. I think the photo would be stronger without. A+

Great picture. you have captured a fantastic portrait, but it isn't finished. Its underexposed by about 1/3 of a stop, and the crop is slightly distracting. I find myself trying to figure out what is above her head. The example posted above my comment looks much much beter, and if you compare them side by side, the eyes fall much more easily on the subjects eyes on the cropped/curved version. I would crop and re-curve this photo (along with all the others of this beautiful girl) and reupload.

Don't listen to bruce Jones. You cannot hold any credibility in any person that says something like "But the placement is wrong compositionally". Correct placement is subjective. You may not like the subject centered, but that doesn't make it wrong.
USUALLY using the rule of thirds will add to a photo, and USUALLY perfectly centered subjects like this somehow take away from a photo, but not always. I am no longer sure that this photo would be better with the subject off at 1/3. It certainly looks better this way then the 1/3 example you have posted.

I wasn't aware that old postcards turn orange and purple... but all that matters is that you like it. I was just curious.

dominique, then the photo wouldn't make any sense at all and you would lose all humor. why would you do that?
-
this is the best photo in your portfolio
-
cluttered... nothing of any real interest.
-
What is the point of the hue adjustment?
-
Cutting her off at the ankles unfortnately ruins this photo.
-
I love this image. I like the other image of her a little bit better however. I think this picture works really really well being so far from the subject.
LOVELY.

Fantastic.
Great colors! The subjects moment is well captured, framing is fantastic. DOF is perfect.. I am not sure there are any ways I could or would even want, to change this photo.

I don't think its overexposed, I just think he he blew out his details by over "contrasting" in photoshop.

"Nina I really love your work, I swear you should teach a photshop class, because your good.

Denneco, she does! She is one of THEE most talented photoshop artists I have ever seen. You should visit the photoshop website that she runs! Its very informative, great support through her msgboard, and she has about 2 dozen really fun tutorials! I will let Nina provide the link, I am not sure she wants to advertize it here or not (Hey nina, "holycow" here from your site!)
Congrats on POW! Awesome work as always.

Here is where a TINY bit of fill flash can make all the difference.
