I AGREE WITH EVERYONE ELSE. GREAT IMAGE. WOULD LIKE TO SEE IT BOTH WAYS, WITH AND WITHOUT THE BLUR AT THE BOTTOM. THIS IMAGE IS PROBABLY SALEABLE. Kevin

Very fine Tom. For once we get to see a nude that also has a face. She looks great!

I agree with removing the left arm. also, the lighting is just a bit flat here. I think that a bit more contrast would have made this nude more interesting. Otherwise, a very nice photograph.

Not bad, but I do think it would be more effective from the short light position rather than broad lighted as you have done here.

I think Jack's comment is in extremely poor taste.
This is a nice photograph. The lighting could be better, but the subject is nice and it is a pleasant photograph to look at.

The tones are beautiful. However, I would have liked to have seen the rest of the person. Anytime I see a semi-nude like this I always feel cheated by the photographer when something is left out.

All backlit shots are mostly silohette shots as this one is and as most sunrize and sunset shots are. then, the issue is to have something very intersting in them. Here it just seems to me that the lone bather is not all that interesting, the foam is hard to see, the lighting is not all that dramatic. Kevin

this phenomenon is referred to as squall light.
your photograph is nice. However, where this type of light is absolutely gorgeous is in black and white photogaphs where you have white buildings against that dark sky. Your photograph looks a little blurry to me. Kevin

I think this site exists for people to use it in the way they see fit so long as they do not hurt anyone. I see no offense in your question. However, having attending many of those events and having done photography for a long time, I believe that most people (women and men) would rather have the real thing than a photograph of the real thing when it comes to flowers. I suspect that you will not sell many. Your photo is of good quality. But there are millions of good quality flower photos out there. Maybe billions.

As I have said many many times in this forum, good sunset and sunrise photos come about because the photographer paid attention to put something of interest in the foreground to relieve the boredom felt by the severe backlighting. Here you did that and more. This is an excellent excellent photograph. Kevin

one thing you never want to do is break the plane of the face with the nose unless you are doing a profile. also, contrast is a little high. I would have moved her away from the window a bit, and added a reflector for fill.

I would have liked this alot more if we would be able to see more of the person. However, the concept is great and the photo is very well done.

which one is you, Andrea?

for some reason I feel cheated when I look at this. I want to see the whole silo. also, it might have been better if sun was behind you to make the silo brilliant against the darkened sky.
also, might have been better from a higher vantage point instead of staight up. try this on a day when there is squall light.

I don't think there is such a thing as an objective critique of a photograph.
