Venus

I've shot this photo this summer. There was a lot of foam that day. I

call this photo - Venus

All backlit shots are mostly silohette shots as this one is and as most sunrize and sunset shots are. then, the issue is to have something very intersting in them. Here it just seems to me that the lone bather is not all that interesting, the foam is hard to see, the lighting is not all that dramatic. Kevin

I agree with Kevin. Not terribly dramatic. Also, difficult to get past the tilted horizon...

Come on guys, if this photo is lacking dramatic effects, then which one does? This photo is very good, foam is fine and wave looks good. Ilike it.

yeah - this is obviously backlited, so maybe venus is too much, but knows her better than us, so maybe he's right

 

i dont feel this so dramatic, but anyway it is a strong pic. nice work anyway.

 

if someone is disturbed by the tilted horizon, we have a simple solution: tilt your monitor, to keep horizon straight
