soft simple lines with lovely textures. I like the tone too. Very nice.

Unusual shot, for a second I actually thought here were twin birds. such rich colours.
-
Flower was framed as is. The lower leaf and a bit of the stem was
slightly damaged. Did wish to leave it untouched but PS won the
day.

So still, so beautiful.

Beautiful winter scene, like a Christmas card.
-
Lovely work to look at and dream by.

So sorry for saying 'THANK YOU' to everyone so very late!!

Thank you Rebecca, ken, Jody and Jacques for your very kind feed backs.
This image could and should be sharper, but its the usual me of 'don't want to carry a tripod' then later wish that I had.
Jacques, your idea of adding a slight blur to the background is a good idea. It'll certainly soften the busy background. I'll give it a try on my tiff copy. Thank you for taking the time.

Happy, creative sunshine colours. Beautiful picture.

Interesting and creative viewpoint for a wedding shot. Very nice tones as well.

Hi Jim, this image is different & interesting. I like the colour scheme you chose for this one, the straw background works a treat. The hair is fine by me.

I like the abstract feel and the choice of b&w. I looked at this image in 'large' and find it quite soft especially at the tips of the points. Maybe worth recropping the image to a squareish format, the burn tool will also help remove the slight softness.

Just cool......very nice.

This one is SPECIAL.

Glad you decided to post this Jim. For a change, I think I actually 'sort of' get the meaning of this image or at least my own take from it. Probably because I've flown a lot of late:)

Beautiful - beautiful.

So so beautiful, the water drop gives it perfection.

Cleaned up overhead wires going every which way. Otherwise did
little. Appreciated advice.

Of the three, I personally prefer this one for its surreal, abstract quility. The strong clouds also help give drama to the forbiding scene. Well seen shot and good tone Robert.

For your very kind comment.

TN - Your thought of using dark grey as pose to true black at the end of the tunnel is worth considering. Had I thought of it, I would have tired to see which worked best. Andy, as you well know, this image is way off my usual track, but the bridge presented itself, though hardly original, it was a first for me and a very nice change. Did have to run for my life soon after the camera click as a huge truck came roaring round the corner!
Thank you again everyone for taking the time to give me feed backs.

Thank you everyone for liking this fun shot and making the time to comment. Andy, Street photography is very much your bag. Hanging arond street corners waiting for the right moments is much harder then one thinks. As for HCB....the nearest I got, and ever will get near to him is I had the pleasure of stepping foot in his country!!
