brian l. schiele 0 Posted November 23, 2003 Great composition! Shows line, balance, contrast. Light is awesome too! Lot's going on in this image. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted November 23, 2003 yes, lots going on in this. Lines are great. on first viewing it looked to mine tired eyes of a person's black panted backside, blue shirt, getting ready to sit on a miniture tree. It wasnt until I opened it up that I got what it really was. Great folder. Knicki Link to comment
mustpaks 0 Posted November 23, 2003 Almost vector like look. Amazing use of line and composition. Might use a tiny bit more detail. Link to comment
m_rosa_cm 0 Posted November 23, 2003 Nice lines and colors. I like the tree for dimension Link to comment
bernd_reinhardt 0 Posted November 23, 2003 I just rated your other picture, and without knowing that this is yours too, it jumped out at me. This speaks for your very distinct style. Keep them coming. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted November 23, 2003 I'd like to see a different angle on this shot; maybe a higher proportion of sky as a balance or no sky at all. Nice work Link to comment
francescomartini 0 Posted November 23, 2003 Beautiful and original image! Congrats!!! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted November 24, 2003 Hi Eric, This is an extraordinary picture. Small nit pick: on my screen, the tree is fuzzy on the right side. Probably jpg'ing? Link to comment
prabhat_photo 0 Posted November 24, 2003 Stunning really and enough for anybody like me to feel jealous. You have worked well in terms of light and composition. CONGRATS! Link to comment
eric_moore2 0 Posted November 24, 2003 Thank you for the compliments. It's really hard to take a bad photograph in this part of Africa, the scenery is incredible. Link to comment
vuyisich 0 Posted November 24, 2003 The lack of detail on both sides of the dune is disturbing. Lower angle of the sun may have solved the problem. Also, I would like to see the top of the dune. Link to comment
alethea_hollis 0 Posted November 24, 2003 Great graphic image, simply stunning. Alethea Link to comment
agaudio 0 Posted November 25, 2003 The curvature of the line creates a very pleasing and calm feeling to this image. It is the boundary of light and dark, it is complete balance. The tree adds a nice sense of scale and a great focal point to which our eye can then start experiencing the rest of the image. Great job!!! Link to comment
vuyisich 0 Posted November 25, 2003 If this is not a photograph in its entirety, and the author did not specify this, I am EXTREMELY dissapointed. Link to comment
eric_moore2 0 Posted November 25, 2003 Yes, the photo was scanned in from the actual slide. I adjusted the contast just enough to make the shaded side of the dune completely black and tweaked the sharpening a bit. Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 65 Posted June 21, 2008 Very impressive. I wish that we had a bigger version. --Lannie Link to comment
