^ exactly! camera is whatever makes you happy. once upon a time i walked the streets with an RB67 over my shoulder. as time went on i wanted something light... yashicamat! not happy with squares, 645 was my answer n still a preference most times. for speed n imediate gratification as well as color for a change... my cannon 20d rescued from the closet of someone that would eventually forget its in there.

go out n shoot everthing till you find yourself. for instance, portraits in a studio, by natural light, in street environments, on the go, for advertising... do it all! to help for inspiration, look at galleries, books, even adds in magazines.

mmmm i wonder how suing may turn out? small claims court (USA) will only award you due compensation to become whole. i think at most all they will get is a full refund. what else can make them whole?... you dont get pain n suffering on a contract breach.

contact a professional retoutcher n see if f they can save your images. hopefully the client may get pix from other guests. never use equipment you arent 100% familiar with.

why not have a seperate forum catagory called PHOTO OF THE WEEK?... complete with instructions? why hook it to personal galleries if its a contest open to all? i guess thats way to easy... n we cant have easy here... this is the new improved photonet still using ancient hidden traditions left over from duh good ole dayz of DOS text based software? sandy, it seems even you arent sure how it works, and you are at the helm. how can you expect anyone else to know unless you're an old salt? explore? where, what?
