I strongly agree with Jennifer; I also expected to see strong stuff, considering the feedback...

This is a very beautiful effect and composition; good eye.

I actually got lost around that area! It is true, there are hardly any people around there, and finding a tram stop was quite a challenge; not a soul that spoke German, or English or French (Spanish was a long shot). Nice shot.

Very clever.

These series are absolutely wonderful, Piotr. I hope one day to be able to get the right model and try this myself. Beautiful!

I think you did a great job of doing something creative with this, since you say the original was "boring". The perspective is very unique, and I like the blown highlights and yet being so "soft". The shadows are nicely done, all with a well-understood erie effect.

Oh, oh...beware the Wrath of Disney. I have heard they are rabid about copyright issues, just like WB (anything to squeeze a penny).
Very funny and original. -
I'm with David, a la Voltaire (pour notres amis Americains: "I may not agree with what you say, but will fight for your right to say it!").
Si Magritte habite a Belgique, et il-y-a trouve Photoshop... ;)

Very well done. Could this be the dawn of a new phase? Keep it up. Personally, and this does not mean I'm right or anybody else is, many of the other super-high-key contrast were OK, but when you have this style it exalts your creative vision, and this indeed shows you can accomplish things without relying much on filters.
Try to remember that photography is like music in this sense: learn to play the notes, then forget the notes : ) -
One of the things I like about this is its "grain", which is not for the purists given the subject matter of this picture. Very nicely done.

Vaya! Algo de mi tierra (yo soy de San Luis Potosí, pero no es mi barrio San Miguelito...)
Me gusta mucho, pero le hace falta algo, quizás el verde necesita ser un poco más vibrante. De otra manera, muy placentera. -
Congratulations Jennifer! I like this too, perhaps it could use a bit more contrast, but that's just me, it still works.
You should know that you are lucky to have found some dedicated people who actually help you; I've found that most of the time I attract people who like to rate my stuff because they don't like it, not the other way around (I've had to reload certain pics because of dedicated slammers in the past); that has changed lately, but still I have hardly (with some notable exceptions) had anybody actually give me constructive feedback (whether good or bad, constructive is by far best when you're trying to grow). Treasure it. Again, kudos. -
Unless it was meant to give it an intended mood, I think it is a bit underexposed; other than that, I like the framing, specially with the big old bare tree (I am particularly fond of those).

This is too big to view comfortably on the site.

Wonderful composition, detail, and smart use of dodging and burning techniques.

I like it; there is still some room for improvement: a slight crop to remove a little off the left edge, but not before rotating clockwise about a half degree. Commendable for the difficult light, rain and rocking of the boat.

Boy, oh boy...you're in the wrong country, dude. I'm sure not many people in Minnesottah (I'm in da Twin Cities) to say the least even know who Velázquez was, and hardly even make the slight connection to Salvador Dalí...all they'll see is offensiveness. My hats off to you for your exploration into creativity.

Muy chistoso! Y original, claro.

Saludos. -

Technically, a "super-genius" who is 40 years old would have to rate 1/7 (Mental Age=40, IQ=280); a highly intelligent, mature person, a 1/4 (30/120), and a dim-dot a 1/10, so I'm confused!!!!
So what's the story? At any rate, all I can say so far is "I feel your pain". -
I used to have a couple of tulip pics myself, but took them off because I'd get incredibly bad ratings along with some rather dumb "comments". Yes, flowers are overdone, but few still catch your eye. This one caught mine.
Best of all, it is not portrayed in a triumphant manner. Ironically sensual.

If possible, I would not crop the hand; there's some energy there and it being cut is rather harsh.
