william_leming2 0 Posted February 12, 2004 I like this one. I love how the "rock" is brought out. Link to comment
oleg_boldyrev 0 Posted February 12, 2004 I appreciate that shooting this remote place was awfully difficult. But still, in an ideal world I would prefer more sharpness on the front face of the rock and something instead of a burn in the top part of the sky. Strange wavy perspective on the left also chips away from the magic of the image. But just. Still looks amazing. Link to comment
gabrielma 0 Posted February 13, 2004 I like it; there is still some room for improvement: a slight crop to remove a little off the left edge, but not before rotating clockwise about a half degree. Commendable for the difficult light, rain and rocking of the boat. Link to comment
owen_jones 0 Posted February 13, 2004 Thanks all for your comments. Very encouraging as these are basically just snapshots with a point and shoot! I agree about cropping the left edge -looks much better (see attachment). I don't have the software to rotate at the moment but with the cropping the slight angle is not so noticable. Thanks once again. Link to comment
owen_jones 0 Posted February 13, 2004 Correction - this is the cropped image - what a plonker! Link to comment
