Great capture. Would love to know the technical details of this shot. How did you shoot directly in to the sun and still get such a nice light on the flower & photographer?

Excellent image. Great light and colors.

Wonderful image. Lighting & DOF really give a feeling of depth here. The color is quite eye-catching.

Excellent image. I appreciate hearing about the technical details too.

Very nice. Has this been softened at all? It looks smooth even for a mannequin.

Wonderfully captured, Julio. The sun and tower (lighthouse?) are positioned just right making a pleasing composition.

This is a great shot. I love the black background and choice of B&W. The direction of the light illuminating her from the left is is awesome. Did you control the light with strobes or was this natural light? Including the ball in the shot makes the composition complete. Not sure I go for the treatment of the hands but it does not bother me either.

From a hill top in Berkely, this shot is looking over the San

Wow. This has a lot of visual impact. I like the use of contrast to exaggerate the lines and texture. Nice shot.

Another ceiling shot from my D.C. trip. Comments/critiques welcomed.

Outstanding. I like the way the branch and nest seem to circle part way around the sun. Great contrast between the dark nest up high and the bright sun down low.

Thanks, Stig. It has been post-processed to boost contrast and exposure but no HDR. More of an equalization filter then blended back with the original.

Wonderful capture. Tonal range and composition are great.
