A stunning shot. I recently visited the LOC and was taken aback by the wonderful and picturesque architecture. I also noticed with disappointment a sign that prohibited photography of any kind.

 

May I ask: did you get a special arrangement that enabled you to photograph this? If so, I'd be interested in knowing how to go about it.

Thanks, Tom for the comments. You're right, I too was amazed at the incredible sights inside this building.

 

If there was a sign prohibiting pictures, I missed it. I walked around openly with my camera and bag taking pictures everywhere (except where the books are - it was closed to visitors at the time we were there). I did not use any flash so perhaps that kept me from attracting attention.
