Thanks for taking a look, Mark.

Well done. I like this one best of the lot. The red already mixed in the milk makes for good visual impact.

Thanks, Jason.

A truly humbling experience to view these photos, I can not imagine the impact it would have seeing first hand.

Great capture, Andrew. The image is crisp and clear, extremely sharp. Colors & exposure are perfect.
Have you tried any shortly after sunset to get just a color in the sky? This might provide a little more separation of the dark parts of the buildings and the black sky.

Great b&w.

This original nicely done but the square format crop is wonderful. Really makes a difference.

Thanks, Cheryln & D.P. I appreciate the kind words.

Many thanks, Richard. Always nice to hear your thoughts on my photos.

Very nice Richard. I like the subtle lighting and texture.

My first try at something like this. Comments/Critiques, welcomed.

Great composite. Exposure is great and the images work very well together.

Thanks, David & Amar. The close crop was intentional with the purpose of accentuating the dancer's level of concentration.

Thanks, Greg, Ferdinando & George for the kinds words. They are most appreciated.

Getting close to recital time at the local dance studio. The girls
are lined up and in their starting positions, ready to dance.
Comments/critiques are welcomed. Thanks, Tom.

Alec, thanks for taking the time to look at my portfolio and for the response to my question about your lighting - your portraits are top notch.
-
Thanks, Alec. The noise from the 645 is definitely from my poor quality scanner. The print looks tack sharp. As to why I cut off her hand; the answer is unfortunately simple - I was concentrating on her face and did not pay attention to the arm going out of frame.

Great shot Ian. I love the light's color on the rocks. Perfect exposure.

Wonderful portrait Alec. I also appreciate the info on your lighting equipment. I would really like to know about the placement of the two flashes you described. How close to the subject did you place each one? Are they high looking down or pretty much eye level with the model?
Thanks,
Tom
