color is wonderful; composition is great. i know that you had to shoot from tihs angle because of the restrictions for this subject. the shadow is distracting. w/o that i think this would be nearly perfect.

This really looks like The Road Not Taken for some time. Nice diffuse light and great that you kept the fence in the image. It works wonderfully as a leading line.

What I like about this image...there is a second image looking on at you in sincere approval of what you are doing. the lighting is good, the composition is great (some might tell you it is disturbing because she is looking into the frame rather than out of it. I also like the details in her hair.

The background was truly disgusting. Parking lot traffic, and garbage cans since we were eating outside. I had to choose, blur or risk not having this image at all.

I think this is one of my best images, and would like to know what

others think of it. Does the background with wrinkles distract or

detract from the simplicity of this image? What about the cropping?

I like this as you submitted. I think the petals in the rear could use a bit more sharpness in DOF, but this is a lovely image. The background is nicely contrasted with the color of the petals.

When I originally envisioned this it was more powerful. This scene

feels drab by comparison. Would a person have made it more

interesting? Some traffic? Different framing?

I think your cheering section is on the mark. Excellent selective color and nice highlight to brighten up the image and counterbalance the weightiness of the foliage on the other side of her.

good color capture. i note that the roof line is slightly crooked and i think this detracts from what would be a great image. you have the window frame and the shape of the porch and all that color including the steps that lead right into this image.
