What a beautiful image! soft, almost like an impressionist's painting. the lighting is superb and the composition allows for the eyes to move easily through the scene.

What do you see here? I think he was just a little bored with the

photo during the formals. I caught him off guard. Think his mom

Thanks for the comments Jennifer. This really is Ashley's skin color. I am amazed at how accurately it is reproduced here. This was shot with Maxxum 7 or 7D. I don't have the specific information as I was using both cameras that morning when I shot the images. If it is film, it is Provia; otherwise Fine JPEG; AWB; Flash.

Is the white in her blouse overexposed? What would help balance the

lighting in this strong window light but dark room exposure with

flourescents overhead? Is the composition too tight?

Mom has not seen her baby in more than 2 months. This was a joyous

reunion in a small cramped room at my office. Lots of furniture and

toys that I had to "crop" out of a potentially busy image. Thanks!

This is one of those "found" objects inside my home. I pass it by

numerous times daily and this one moment in time I captured what feels

to me to be the essence of this "object" We have so many objects in

our lives that I sometimes question if we own them or they own us.

Wonderful lighting and composition. Good communication with subject. Did you use studio lights or natural window light. Separation between subject and background is good.
