Great imagery. She has not allowed time to slip away from her. She has captured it and has romanced time. She is a living walking talking breathing history book.
-
really strong image...i think it does need a bit more shadow detail...excellent otherwise.
-
interesting angle. gives her a tough look. like the brickwork behind her as it complements the tough image, but i think it should be more blurred.
-
interesting use of DOF. I had to look at the image to make sense of it. Think it is too centered in the photo, otherwise an attention grabber. Nice use of B&W!

This is one of my first digital images. I happened upon this
serendipitously one afternoon with this grouping of crayons sitting
on my dining room table. Question is what could I have done to make
this a more interesting image apart from changing the DOF? What do
you like or dislike about the composition? Is the graphic strong
enough to stand alone?

great color. must have used the right speed as well because this looks great with so many different people in motion at once.

Nice catch. two objects - one stationary and one moving very quickly. kind of a documentary on the complexities of our world today. The yin and yang of it all.
-
stunning composition. this is exquisite in the lighting and placement of the main subject in the frame.

Great color! Dramatic

interesting post processing.

great reflections in the water. nice symmetry of the two taller buildings.

Certainly the epitome of resolve or stubborness. I am sure I would not want to tangle with this one about an important issue. I think it would be a short conversation.
-
Is this too abstract? What would make this a better photo? I need
help as it appears I have reached a static place in my images.

What does this communicate to you? What does it make you think of?
Is it too much contrast? Would a hint of color help?

I thought of PEACE before I saw your title. Very nice capture of a tough-to-meter scene.

Nice capture. He looks engrossed in what he was doing. It has a look of classic design. His hand placed just so; the glass in the background as great light source and the cushion behind him both eliminating distractions.

Excellent idea. Yes, it is dark, but it still conveys your message. It is actually more about the pre-flight action than the subject itself. Keep working at the panning and perfect your technique.
