I have been back on the place where I took the first version of "my
house". I have sent a new version yesterday and here is another one
that I think I already prefer. Jean
This is a single picture shot in the water and rotated 180 deg.

Thank you for any comment, jean

Well seen! quite intriguing mood obtained thanks to the mirror.

Thanks for the comment, where the lady walks is a passage of about 30 meters so she is so in a hurry that it would be too time costly to pack and unpack the umbrella (well this is my own suggestion to explain this, maybe she is born with an umbrella in her hand and has no other choice!). regards.. Royal attitude indeed, this is beautiful. The attitude is reinforced by the low level shooting point. I have a comment/question about the pole on the left. I wonder if it add some balance in the composition or if compete slightly to get an infinitesimal small part of attention from our prince? I cant make my mind Marc.

My point was to try a graphical composition using the triangular
shapes given by the boats that are filling in a way the empty larger
triangles formed by the poles. My regret is that the boats are a bit
small, but you will tell if you think the same, thanks for the
comments, jean

thanks for your comment on this manipulated rotated reflection, Jean

You are right in a way, you shall consider this is not a house but a church, so the door is 3 m high or so, therefore this funny feeling to see a minaiture house there....jean

thank you for your comments, jean

Thanks for all the comments, This picture is the original picture shot, there is no colourisation of the house nor B&W transformation, I have slightly adjusted the contrast and saturation in ps and thats it.

I try to make abstraction of the writting on the picture, To me the picture is perfect with cropping a part of the dark bottom, jean

My main remark about this shot is that the head is definitively too close from the edge of the picture. My second remark has to do with the non-verticality of the wall (Or what it is). Regards, jean

Thank you to tell me if this picture works, jean

Thank you Marc, I see what you mean, I think you are right, but I will have to return...(now the snow is awy....). jean

Thank you for your comments, I did it to have the line slightly going up instead of going down, maybe I should rotate slighty the picture, crop it and turn it the right way...Jean

Robert thatk you for your comment, I appreciate the fact it is a chliché, but this is the real colour of the house, I havent changed any colour on this picture apart slightly increasing the saturation on the house. Regards, jean

I intend to use this picture or one other version I have sent
(http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=1227814) for a very
loacl exhibition. My personal taste go for this light version while
the other version is a bit darker. Shall I keep this one or shall I
work in ps to have the snow details from the other one on this one?
Thanks for any help. For me this one is at it should be even if the
details in snow are lost, it gives the a-bit-dreamy mood I like for
the scene. Jean

This picture attracted my immediatly in you folio. To me the originality of a more than common scene illustrates perfectly what photo is about. The details in the water drop add a finish touch to the picture, congratualtions. Jean
