Here's another Nikomat FTn photo, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Sinks. 50 mm/f1.4 Nikkor lens. 1/125 second, F5.6
-
Here's some more Nikomat FTn photos. I used a 50 mm/f1.4 Nikkor lens. Fujicolor C 200 film, and a Gossen Luna Pro external meter. Great Smoky Mountains National Park near the Sinks. Lots of walking that trip, a weeks worth for me with Cerebral Palsy (I still have left over tiredness from this trip). Life with a hip 1" shorter than the other, only gives me challenges and opportunity. I work hard physically for my images.

I wish I had one I could give you. As I am an admirer of the Olympus cameras designed by one Y Maitiani. Nice yard sale find, enjoy making images with it.

Indeed, great results. I am enjoying my Minolta SR-T 101; and that 58 mm, 1.4 Rokkor lens sure gives me nice images. Using a Gossen Luna Pro meter for the exposure metering. A superb tool. Thanks for making me so aware of the image quality of Minolta MC and MD lenses.

Niels, how are you liking that Kodak ProImage 100 film? I am curious, and sometime need to try a roll or three. I like the ColorPlus 200 a lot, and a favorite film of mine. -
That 1969 Impala is Chevrolet at their best. (and in your case, a family matter then). Beautiful car, beautiful photo of Southern living. In that era, my parents had a 1970 Pontiac Catalina wagon (a very special order car, had a 455 Super Duty, triple 4 barrel carb, 400 turbo automatic, AC and looked outwardly like a boring family wagon). It was quite fast, enough to keep up with any muscle car. Mike, I enjoy your photos and commentary on Southern life so much, and your family's experiences.

My first 35 SLR was a chrome FTb, with the 50 1.7 chrome nose. Other than lens changes feeling like I needed 3 hands, the camera was reliable, made great images, and never gave me trouble for years. -

Mike Gammill, I now own a beautiful Minolta SRT-101 of my own. It's a beautiful condition example, and handles great. I can't wait to see the results from the test roll. Built solidly, inspires confidence in it's operation. -

My example has a film transport issue. So the camera on deck is now a Minolta SRT-101, and it's a super nice example. Now have a 50 1.4 Rokkor-X to go with it.
