Chopping and dicing in the kitchen last night. A red cabbage braise with onion, garlic and flavored bullion. Back in the old days I would have added sausages but I've cut back on sodium and fat at my doctors' advice (orders!). R7 with kit zoom lens and off camera flash with Vello small softbox attachment.

Thanks Mark. Last year was a quiet year for thunderstorms here which probably makes some people happy!

Thunderstorms rolled through the Chicago area Tuesday evening and I got some lightning pics. I finally figured (I'm a slow learner!) I can use the interval timer with the 80D so I can just set it and forget it! These were 20 second exposures at F/11 and ISO 100 or 200. 80D with the 10-22mm lens and 5D with 15mm fisheye.
