  3. Seriously, thanks William and Orsetto for your help here, such amazingly detailed answers that for me is so , thank you. oK so i would love to try and take a photo like this one I found or similar. What would be the best combo in your opinions so I can look for one online. I want to capture as much detail as possible. I feel like this would be such a great place to start. I have a tripod and it'll be indoor plants so hopefully we can keep them still enough during that. 4. Hi there i was wondering if anyone had much experience with the bronica ETR extension tubes at all. I am looking for a way to take macro shots of plants close up and wonder if one of the extension tubes would do the job. I have a 75mm and a 150mm lens and I see theres an E-14 extension and a couple of others. I have no idea which would be best but which one would get me closest and which of my lenses would be best, the 75mm? also does anyone have any test photos with and without using one? Any help much appreciated, I don't really understand which one of the tubes would get me closest, I've seen a chart but don't understand it. Any help much appreciated!
  5. Hi all I am looking for a Bronica ETR macro lens, if anyone has one they wouldn't mind parting with please do let me know. I'm not worried if its a bit battered or worn as long as it shoots fine. Any links to a reasonably priced one also very appreciated.

  7. Hey all thanks so much for all your detective work. Seems like the second item has been 100% identified but the 1st might be a little harder to completely know what it is. If anyone would like either of these items I am happy for you to have them just send me a message and I can post them to you for free if you have a use. kmac - wondered if this device would ever fit on a Polaroid 600SE or no chance? Thought it would be worth asking.

  13. HI all OK I have been problem solving a bronica issue now for a good while and maiinly th issues stem from the fact numerous things were wrong and when I say numerous I mean the orignal back and lens were not working at all, these issues are now fixed. My last iissue is the camera body itself and i was hoping to try and fix this DIY style as it will likely end up in the trash as it would be cheaper to buy a new one than fix it I bet. The camera shutter works fine but the speed never changes regardless of the selection, I have used new batteries and different types to no avail, the indicator light shows its working but the shutter speed doesn't change. I compared this camera to another and the shutter selection ring is noticeably looser. I reckon the issue is the ring not triggering the selection in some way. Does anyone have any ideas on what might be going on and how to fix this at all, any info, sites or descriptions would be amazing. Thanks all.
  14. haha hey. Hunter_Compton you are absolutely right, it may fail it mayor end up messy and it will possibly be a huge waste of time but I am very much up for giving it a whirl. I shall keep you all posted on how far I get. If you have any info/advice or anything like that please do let me know.
  15. Fascinated by polaroid and everything they did but completely intrigued by peel-apart film. Does anyone know how the paper in the camera works and how it comes together to make an image, maybe theres a video or diagrams out there? I understand the pressing of the film and the receiving paper and the pod part with the rollers but how does the film get pressed onto the receiving paper? Any insight super appreciated. Best, Scott
  16. OK this might be helpful for someone as this is resolved after speaking with a polaroid expert over at flickr as mentioned by Hunter_compton earlier in this thread. The person was indeed Fastcat and is still active and awesome. OK so Fastcat mentioned that its probably not been used in years and befoire I replace the interlock switch get the motor going properly with the item fully locked in place by opening and shutting the camera 50-60 times. I did 30 and tried it and the same problem occurred, I nearly gave up but continumed to do another 30 or so and it worked!!! I ran a few tests and the camera is running Awesome. The camera probably sat fully extended and open for years and years and years and needed to have its old joints flexing again. Word of note if you try this, please make sure it feels like its closing OK, do not force it as it could be the mirror out of place and that could get damaged badly so make sure it feels like its opening and closing correctly.
