  2. Good question. I don't know how my images became hidden? I will check that out. Thank you.
  3. One of the most important issues is being able to edit images that have been put in my personal gallery. Every time I try to click an image to open I get the message I don't have permission, so I cannot even edit/delete my own images. This needs to be fixed asap.
  4. I agree, I keep getting the message when I try to open one of my images that I do not have permission. This is getting old very fast.
  5. And, today I read where Pentax is exploring the possibility of making a new film camera. Wow. I know there are photographers out there still shooting film so this could be of interest to them. For me, I don't see myself going back to film anytime soon.
  6. I don't like the new way of getting to your images. Your images should show up on your profile without having to work at it. Please go back to the old way which was much better in my opinion.
  7. Pentax recently announced a replacement for the K70 which will be the KR. Also, Pentax plans to release several options of its K3iii body which will be a monochrome version, an astronomical version plus several other incarnations.
  8. So far I am totally not impressed with the new changes. It is not intuitive at all.
  9. My albums/images do not yet show up either.

    Ready for Fall

Taken with an Olympus camera, this mesquite tree offered a nice opportunity for a tree portrait. Using some digital coloring I enhanced its autumn colors so that it would really speak fall colors and mood.

  11. Taken with my older Pentax K50 and 18-55 lens. Unfortunately, my K50 is developing the aperture block failure problem. GQR

    Rural Gate and Fence

A rural fence and wooden gate made for a nice down on the farm image. If you look closely you can see a flycatcher sitting on the fence above the gate.

    Not Just Another Sunset

Pretty clouds highlighted by the late evening sun from a Texas viewpoint.
  18. The newer m4/3ds cameras are much superior to the older models. I shoot with a Panasonic G9 and an Olympus OM-d-m-5iii both with 20mp sensors. I can say the images can compete with APS-C sensors in most situations. Macro and wildlife photography shine with this system, especially for shooting wildlife as the body/camera are so much smaller and lighter than APS-C and especially FF. I am pleased with the images I can get from it. Sometimes shooting in low light noise is a little more noticeable but with today's software it can easily be removed.
  19. One of my most beloved Pentax cameras was the PZ1P film camera. I can't tell you how many rolls of slide film I shot with that camera. Unfortunately, film/processing costs rose a lot and digital came onto the market sealing my camera's fate. I do miss the fact of not having a slide or print...something I could put my hands/eyes on over digital. Digital wins for overall cost factors. Today, to make sure I have something to show I make a yearly book of my favorite digital images.
  20. Olympus on February 15 is announcing their new WOW camera. You might want to check its speed out against current models.
  21. A scenic capture from Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge in New Mexico.
