  1. Don, you're gonna love that Maxwell screen. *UBER* fragile. If a blower brush won't get a bit off - proceed w/ extreme caution. The local factory 'blad service said I could expect 2 more stops of light from my pre-acutematte screen. It seems to deliver. The Rollei screen was a bit more reasonable. 'Blad w/ split/grid/microprism was just south of $400. It would appear your Rollei likes it. :)
  2. Erko, I enjoy the macro of mechanical stuff. What are you using to focus close? Macro lens? Ext. tubes? Bellows?
  3. Bruce, that Voigtlander seems to be delivering the goods. 'Handsome compositions, well executed.
  4. Don, Thank you for the 'heads up'. Convo returned. If I can help further, pls. let me know.
  5. And the elusive '57. I've not mastered composing in square format for rectangular presentation. 8mm tube F11, 1/2s
  6. a bit of breeze kept it more soft than I wanted. PanF, 16mm tube
  7. 500cm/80/8mm tube, Portra 160, f11, 1/8th. I'm sure I'd look grumpy if I was left stuck on the hood in the rain. :)
  8. Mike, Thx for posting the shot on the family shop. 'Neat to see. Rick - that lockwood is killer. Its the consistent excellent execution that keeps smacking my eyes. 'Working hard on that constistency. Ross - that truck shot was super you hung on to that shadow detail when it was tricky. The Pt. Lobos shot is gorgeous. 'A little soft & it sure seems like 1/8th should have bought you some water blur. 'Very nice. I mentioned I do the 80-90% shot well (complete w/ foul ups). The train shot was fine, but framed w/ the train too close to the left edge. It was fast approaching, so it was rushed, but I sure have a lot of 'close but no cigar' shots. Train left the station. FP4, PyroHD
  9. 'Supposedly one of the oldest 'festivals' in Wa state is in Woodland, WA, a bit north of Vanc. Planter's Festival is fairly large, 3-days, family oriented. It was a pleasure. All w/ 500cm/80, some w/ 8mm ext. tube FP4/PyroHD
  10. Mike, you sure got the goods w/ that little Rollei. Nice one. James - tones & range in the Weidmann's shot are killer. You're having fun w/ that F6 (voice of jealousy). Bertliang - each is nice, but the beach cliff shot shines for me - which is unusual - I love night shots. James, the Isolette (and the shooter) are delivering the goods in fine order. 'Always cringe - Rick's work is gorgeous. If Tony gets to connect, we need him to steal your secrets :) Erko - Nice work w/ the Nikon. 'Love the composition, execution, title of 'Open House'. 'Gears' is also wonderful. Reflection brings alot to it.
  11. Bill, Bravo on helping w/ the OA detail. 'Preciate it. OK. Kubrick did it with monkeys, but the critters at the obelisk were really salmon. :)
