<p>First, pls. know I DID do about 20min. of search on the topic.<br> <br />I'm okay w/ moderate dimensions. Is it safe to assume that 300dpi is a waste? Some of the newer monitors seem to be rendering a higher density than the std. 72 dpi. <br /> <br> Thank You for what must be a topic that noobs seem to get wrong. I appreciate your help. </p>

There is much to love in this image. I'm afraid my only critique is all positive. Wonderful capture of what must be natural light, with most shadows retaining even subtle detail. I love HARD focus portraits (like Mahmet Akin), especially on a young lady. DOF is shallow, but very nice. I'd be very happy if my portraits were this well done. Bravo Christoph! -
Masterful treatment of light. The play of rectangular forms, each w/ their different shades draws extended attention. Less obvious is subtle color - not oversaturated. Really well executed. -
Wonderful shot, John. Before I saw the other comment, I had the same observation - that the foliage has that digital over-baked look. The blues in the folliage stand out, but without a size or detail that provide a context as to why they should. The rest of the foliage, mostly the orange. looks only slightly oversaturated. This comment is only on details of what is a fabulous shot. Your landscape/travel shots are reliably excellent. -
Its a bit grainy, but was low light/fast film. Your thoughts are eagerly sought. -
