Smaller aperture. Get the foreground in focus,

    Sale

Crop out the individual on the left.

    Union Station

Terrible lighting, and bad composition/framiing. The subject is worth a retake though I think.

Nothing much goiong on here except bad lighting, and focus.

    Very well done,

    pink(view larger)

Looking at the large view this is well done. I like the comp. My only critique would be that the sunflower SHOULD have been much brighter. Maybe not so much as to overpower the pink flower, but enough not to have been distractingly dark.

Personally, I dislike the fluorescent lighting cast.

    Lose that godawful frame!

    Crossing the bridge

More great IR from HN. BUT this one looks tilted downward to the right. Makes the picture unbalanced. Notice the line at the end of the bridge path, and the abutments on the front. Both give a decided lean.

    Summer in the valley

One of the brush limbs, but not both.

    Hele-Riin

Beyond the curtain on the right is totally unnecessary.

    Hele-Riin II

The picture is just waaay to cluttered. All the junk in the background simply distracts (putting it politely), should have used a wide open aperture and blurred that backreound out.

  14. Badly lacking a foreground. Also I think zooming/cropping in on those lenticular clouds and mountains would create a more interesting shot.

I do believe I meant FRAMEABLE, and not flammable.  lol

    sunset

Subject(s) to centered. Cropped such that the Sun and ship are on far right would GREATLY improve this.  Also choppy water is never attractive.  Perhaps a bit longer exposure would smooth it a bit
  17. To my eye you have two maybe three shots in this.  As it stands it is too busy and lacks any real subject.  Could go with a bit of warming as well.

Maybe its just me.  But lately there seems to be a trend of shooting nudes in odd position with bluish cast.  That to me produces a good Medical examiners forensic shot of a crime scene.

    Bryce Canyon 10

The sky and distant mountains add nothing to this scene.  By lowering your view to crop out those you would add more of the foreground rock to give depth.  You could also crop the left side a bit, as it almost appears blurred.   Since you shot this with bad light (mid-day) you really need to tweak that contrast.
  20. Without a foreground object to give it depth this becomes a snapshot.

    Pretty Lady

    Nice stock photo shot.  Really.

    keira-9403

Unique.  Odd, and a bit disconcerting, but I like it.
  23. Background blown out, and no fill light on the subject.  You got a snapshot.

OH, so much potential, and you got a snapshot.
