  1. i'll start it this week<div></div>
  2. <i>I think it would be more instructional if people gave the lens and equiv. focal length used.</i> <p> why?
  3. sometimes i think photo editing is as intriguing & elegant as photography itself.
  4. i looked at that thread and your owl piccies and couldn't see any difference on my iphone. on what kind of device would i need to view them in order to see a difference?
  5. <i>they will not write</i> <p> mmmmm, interesting. mebbe the extremely talented don't but drawing on my experience of popular online sites, I would suggest otherwise. DPRreview has zillions of posts everyday.
  6. all good points but i think you need to make new members feel extra special so, to that end, I'd encourage a clique makes pn slightly snobby, promotes brazen but justified attitudes towards photography and allows forthright (with the letter f) opinions. banning references to DxO and their ilk would help. if one looks at the success of dpreview & flickr & ( in a similar but different vein) the success of the online, as opposed to print, version of the guardian newspaper, the most common attribute is moderate moderation.
  7. i've been playing around with photoshop for ios. there are some ghastly effects. photo resized in pixelmator another ps like app.<div></div>
  8. yeah, but what if I don't want the best possible photo? what if i want sumfin' artistic?
  9. <i>Julie, I have looked at quite a few images right here on PN for longer than 10 seconds. I've provided 2 examples</i> <p> most people who <i>willingly</i> look at photos do spend more than 10 seconds looking at them. ten seconds is not very long
  10. <i>Seeing involves more than staring at something</i> <p> no one has said otherwise. why introduce such negative connotations?
  11. any photo that takes me somewhere - eg charlie le may's stuff on the leica forum
  12. Tim, teal isn't as dark as blue. Have you tried changing the colour of visited links? You can do that on the Unified Forum-> Customise page.
  13. I can't see the cyan but I can see teal (on an iphone at least). Do you get the same colours on your handheld?
  14. iphone & 3 bottles of bintang
