  1. Then there's this from the above cited source: To fly a drone as a hobbyist in the state of Florida (i.e. for fun / pleasure) you are required by the FAA to take The Recreational UAS Safety Test (TRUST). You are also required to follow the FAA’s recreational model aircraft rules. One of those rules is that if your drone weighs more than 0.55 lbs (250g), you’ll need to pay $5 to get it registered. There are additional rules when it comes to airspace and altitude, keeping your drone within line-of-sight while you’re flying, and more.
  2. Tanqueray and Bombay Sapphire bottles work nicely, too...
  3. Diffusion adjustable, too. Buy 3.2%, 2% or skim jugs for different effects!
  4. Why hasn't this thread been locked? This isn't the place for the OP to seek solutions. No one here apparently works for the vendor or the OP's CC company.
  5. Getting out with a camera is great therapy for body and soul after a medical ordeal. Very nice street shots! Get closer and share more with us soon!
  6. Time for the OP to move on with their troubles--and mods to lock the thread. Ain't no solution or refund coming from here, so why continue whining???
  7. Distinct odor of fish about all this. Fretting about a $70-80 discount and CC kickbacks on a 3 grand lens is, well...Would love to see/ your exchanges with B&H.
  8. Jeesh, the R3 is pushing 50 years old. Agree with the view that where and how it was stored likely caused the problem--apart from old age. Have Minoltas and Nikons that old that show no such deterioration. Problem in 2023 is finding competent service for these lovable relics.
  9. Hilarious. The only differences being decades newer parts and the ability to deliver incident readings with some models--no big deal, right?
  10. Explore the work of Fred Herzog sometime and see Kodachrome used for street in Vancouver.
  11. Just be careful about others managing your expectations.
  12. Cynically, art without commerce is a hobby. Galleries exist by paying rent with money from sales of your work. They know what sells to their client base which obviously varies gallery to gallery. Can't sell it? Don't want it. Brutal? Maybe but what would you do in their shoes?
  13. It's a busted, user-grade condition, plasticky camera I'd ditch if no quick/cheap fix worked. Drive-by OP?
  14. If film and processing were cheaper, the strong likelihood of inaccuracy wouldn't matter so much. However, in 2023. relic meters are a crap shoot. Exceptions don't prove the rule. If I were buying, I'd get the newest meter I could afford and the Ikophot wouldn't be on my short list!
  15. Hardly. That exception is overshadowed by dozens that plainly weren't staged. Think you need to look at more of his work.
  16. What's point here? Can't see anything that's not long available. BTW, C-B, nor his family, were likely ever hurting for money.
  17. So tiresome...Yours did, mine didn't. Stow the tarbrush. Many are busted from years of hard use, not a baked-in defect.
  18. For some much-needed perspective on these issues, the American Historical Association's internal feuding and trench warfare over "presentism" is worth a look: https://www.nytimes.com/2023/01/08/arts/american-historical-association-james-sweet.html
