Another lovely capture of the tiny bird, well done.

Salut Laurent. I like the clouds reaching down to the land and the splash of sun on the snow. Pretty, but chilly scene! Gillie

A companionable scene that can be seen anywhere where youngsters have the opportunity to get together and chew the fat! Clever idea to park the bikes upside down = I wonder if they learned that from experience! Black and white works well for candid shots such as this. Well seen.

A happy shot Joao! I ghave enjoyed looking at your Carnival pictures, such energy and colour.

Thank you all kindly; I love the look on the pelican's faces too! You're right Alf; never was $100 better spent than on the day I bought my treasured little nifty fifty. Gillie

Excellent capture, great detail throughout the spider.

Amazing; I don't remember ever seeing a baby hummingbird, let alone managing to photograph one.

I think it is a one for you, one for me type permit!

With those long legs, the passenger can make a quick dismount if necessary! Fun picture :)

I am trying for an old album look, like the photographs my father used
to take in the '59s with his Ensign. I think he would have enjoyed
today's digital cameras.

Thank you all for your kind words, and for taking the time to leave them :)

Thanks Tony.

Hi Gail; I see what you mean! Dungeness , Kent in the UK, is a photographers dream, if you like decaying textures and stark scenes.

Thank you both for your comments. I do have versions of this picture in both color and b/w, but I was trying for something a little more unconventional and this effect pleased me on the day :/ I do thank you for the suggestion and will go back to the drawing board and bear your remarks in mind. A nice portrait of this bird of whom I have some pictures too; he has a very sad look but I am not sure if this is natural to the species!
