A good sky, looking West towards the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Really well done, congratulations. I love the restricted range of soft evening colours, and the composition is just right in my eyes.

Great composition and subject really well portrayed.

Another excellent example of all the shades from white to black; interesting subject and i like the tilt. Well done, Gillie

The Eastern Tiger Swallowtails are so showy and colorful, that it is
hard not spend all day following them with my camera!
-
Thank you both; Joe, thanks for the tip!

I really like the processing; the car stand out beautifully and in great detail against the subdued background.

Well spotted! It is funny that the wheels match the dachshund's legs; I have one of these little dogs, so the shot really appeals to me!

Seen at the zoo; sometimes the people are more fun than the animals!

Thank you both; I am glad that you think the effort worthwhile. Gillie

Great exposure; that looks a really comfortable bike. Amazing tyres on the back!

I bit off more than I can safely chew getting to this spot; steep
climbs and a lot of scrambling up and down wet rocks - quite a bit of
it on my backside! It would have been nice if there had been more
water coming over the rocks.

Thanks, Jim; I shall be going that way again in August and may try some more angles. There is a small cemetery, but I would need to be there early for the light. Gillie

Detail of one of the cave roofs; thanks for looking in.

They are posing very nicely for you; I would have liked a little more definition to separate their necks, but it would not be easy.

I am editing on my desktop, and then transferring the pictures to my
laptop, (via wifi), to post. What looks good to me originally, looks
quite different on my laptop, so I am never sure, at the moment,
exactly what is being posted. Thanks for viewing :)
